We have stayed here often. And been pretty happy. We did notice last year that it seemed to be falling apart. We were told that the property was being renovated.

stayed here with my daughter for an overnight shopping trip... close to all the stores....great breakfast big rooms worth the money....the hot tub was down..a slight disappointment but things happen....fresh baked cookies in the lobby in the afternoon and fresh coffee ...nice treat.

Easy drive to downtown Portland. As far as coastal attractions, there are a lot nearby. Really depends on what coastal attractions you are interested in and how far you are interested in driving in one day.
