We have been coming up to Freeport every year in November since the early 80's to shop LL bean. with all of these years of experience behind me, I have stayed a the Comfort Inn and suites, the Hampton Inn, the Hilton garden inn, the casco Bay inn as well as others. I have to say this was the best...

The room was exceptional clean and beds were comfy. The breakfast was good, not great but aleast it had a variety whether just a banana or coffee and eggs, pancakes if you choose. Second night we lost power for approx 3+ hour which made it adventrous for those who choose to stay. It just took patience which some did not...

We went up for a girl's weekend of shopping. An earlier car accident had left the hotel without power for over 3 hours when we arrived, and Curtis greeted us with a friendly attitude, despite the circumstances (and, we later found out with only 2 weeks experience). We were ready to switch hotels, when the power came back on, and...

My family traveled to Freeport for a birthday weekend of shopping, dining and fun. We booked the Holiday Inn Express (2 suites). Not thru "any" fault of the hotel - the power went out somewhere around 4:00PM and RT 1 was closed for hours near this hotel. WE were having dinner close by and returned to the hotel when the...

Found this hotel to be convenient to the highway, downtown Freeport and attractions. We did have some difficulty with the location of the room assigned but that was rectified quickly. The room was clean, quite large and even had a fridge. The wifi worked well. Breakfast was the usual HIE choice but perhaps a little better. I wish there was...

Flew into Portland at 12am and wanted to head up hwy 1 the next morning. Great place to stop just 25 minutes from airport. Large room. Loved breakfast options and even decided to stop at the LL Bean outlet before driving up hwy 1. Turned out to be an excellent idea.

The traffic on US Route 1 was light and barely noticeable. Sometimes the sound of traffic can be comforting. Always enjoy the convenience of their morning breakfast and the time allocated for it. Since we were there early in the week, the hotel was moderately occupied so it was especially relaxing and quiet. Just a few minor issues with the...

This is the second time my wife and I stayed here on our annual fall trip to Maine. It is close to the highway and a short drive into Freeport. We had a room on the first floor which was clean and comfortable. Our room was on the side of the building so it was not noisy. The staff was...

Another stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Freeport, Maine. Room was perfectly clean Furnishings and linens were simple but left nothing to be desired. My room was on back of motel and you can definitely hear the northbound traffic on I-95, all night. Didn't disturb my sleep though A special note to "Shannon" , the young lady who managed...
