Our stay a Zulu Nyala was a wonderful experience. Every day from the start we were treated to amazing views of all manner of wild animals. Our guide William was a "game whisperer" who expertly tracked, predicted the movement, and occasionally spoke to the elephants and rhinos. Great hospitality from the staff and good food. Many opportunities to visit other...

We stayed for Valentines weekend and I felt they could have made it a bit special... However it was just a normal stay. The place is neat and rooms clean. My only complaint was the staff at the front desk. They are not well trained and when we checked in they were not sure about what was going on. They...

This place is absolutely appalling. The gardens are beautiful. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and clean, but that's where it ends. Not all electric plugs working. No plugs in basins. No kettle in one guest's room. The absolute worst was our evening meal. Everything was in Bain-maries & had been cooked long before. About 6 veggies, indistinguishable from...

We stayed on the 31st December 2015 with my family, It’s a pleasant place, we show few zebras and horses, there were few big dogs for what we were not happy as we are not used to pets. Only one issue we had was with the kettle, which was very dirty and not replaced as the staff responsible were off...

We had a amazing time at hotel. Food was excellent, service was friendly. Pool and surrounding area beautiful and gardens well maintained, and walk ways clean. Zebras, horses and antelopes in back garden. Room is large, two king size beds, good air conditioning and nice hot water. Julian the manger was very helpful in every aspect. Even our flight was...

Rooms were large and beautiful grounds and plantings were well manicured. We saw zebras and other African wildlife during our stay. Great stay. Friendly hosts and staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Great stay. Friendly hosts and staff. Would definitely stay there again. Would have preferred a double bed but due to short notice booking got 2 single beds. The staff was very helpful to even meeting special requirements.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was nice, next to the pool. [We stayed at their other two places - each for 3 nights - and everything was included (3 meals, bottled water in the rooms)]. At Country Manor we were surprised to find that only breakfast was included. The buffet for dinner was OK, nothing to rave...

Beautiful grounds and plantings and rooms were recently improved. Staff was helpful, tour of Joburg was very informative and would not skip seeing the history of apartheid and Mandela exhibit. The hotel and tour were pricey, but we have no regrets. Would definitely do this before the safari rather than after, because the hotel does not compare with the other...

Other people are complaining about the rooms but we LOVED our room. It was clean, comfy and quiet. We didn't eat breakfast there but the two dinners we had were delicious. One vegetarian and one extremely picky meat eater.....we were both pleasantly surprised. There are lots of dogs on the property (and one wolf) and we had a great time...
