Traveled to Dover Foxcroft on the way to Moosehead area. Food and wait staff were good and accommodations were clean, but don't expect too much sleep during winter months with heavy snowmobile guests coming and going - even at 3:30 AM.

Here is a nice place to try if you find yourself hungry and touring in Central Maine. Stopped in to the Bear's Den and Tavern Restaurant while searching for antiques and definitely will plan to return. Hunting/Fishing Camp ambiance, friendly and fast service and very good food. Daily specials of comfort food meals from meatloaf to Turkey dinner, depending on...

We were enroute to Lubec, ME from Armagh, Canada and booked a room here as a half-way stop. We were assigned a room in the "bunk house". The room was absolutely charming, clean and just so well done. We felt like we were in a little cabin in Maine! Another awesome point is the fact they have a restaurant and...

Cabins are very cozy and rustic feeling- clean and simple. Beds and pillows are very comfortable- had a great night's sleep each night of the week I was there with friends. Great shower pressure. The only cons were that in the cabin furthest out from the office (which was not open when we went to check-in), the wifi was not...

Where do I start? We were in the cabin called "Cubby Hole" and that's what it was. So small that the table between the two twin beds was a wooden TV tray. One of the three lights above the small sink in the small bathroom was out (when we checked in), something you would think the housekeeping staff would have...

I stayed in Cabin 1 and was very pleased with how clean and updated the cabin was. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic! Much nicer than more expensive and fancier hotels I have stayed at. Very nice rustic retreat where the staff was friendly and accommodating the minute we walked in the front door. The free "baby bear"...

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for a weekend and had a fabulous time. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The little log cabins were cute and cozy as well as very clean and updated. They have the rustic camp feeling of northern Maine, which we loved....

We just came back from our annual overnight stay at the Bears Den. As usual we had an excellent time. The cabins were very clean, the food was good and the entertainment and drinks in the lounge were great. The staff always welcomes us and treats us like rock stars. I cant wait till next year.

Just spent one night as a stop over on my way up to Baxter State park the following day. Cabin had a very homey ambiance. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot. The restaurant and bar was in a building just yards away. The bar and restaurant are separated by a wall which works well. Everyone I met that worked...
