We enjoyed our stay here immensely! We camped right on the little plinth that sticks out into the lake. Quiet and dark... our favorite part, though, is hearing the loons call at night. So lovely...ahhhhhh...

I've been coming to this campground since I was a kid and still love coming back. We went with many families when I was a kid and return today with new friends. The kids love it - all ages. The lake is beautiful and usually warm. The campground has tent sites, RVs and cabins. The campground is full of activities... More

Lots of activities. A skate park and bike jumps. Secure area. Wonderful pool, and a lake for boating and fishing. Dances on Saturday night and a pancake breakfast Sunday morning to benefit the local fire department. Camping tent sites, RV sites and cabins to rent... We will be going back.

Love the town of Damariscotta but the campground is mediocre at best. There are many lake front sites but don't bother trying to book one in summer. Returning campers have first dibs! Customer service was not very good. I felt like there was no emphasis on friendly service at all. Some workers in the store and at the reservation desk... More

Worst campground we've been to. Dirty, people driving way to fast for as many kids that are here. Staff is not friendly at all. Checked in and pulled up to the gate and sat and sat and sat until the woman yelled from the window, can we help you??? Yea, open the gate? She said there's a gate key with... More

I re-visited Lake Pemaquid Campground after several years and had a wonderful time! I used to go camping there with my sons several years ago and today it remains one of their favorite vacation memories. So I returned alone to fulfill my dream of an alone get away to write. This time around I rented a cottage, but I did... More

We were on lot 243 on the lake and had a great time. The weather wasn't the warmest but we enjoyed campfires and visiting with friends who came to visit. We went fishing on the lake. We were quite far from the pools and store so would have to drive up but there was parking so that was cool. The... More

Our family has camped here in both the cabins and campground, great place for kids, no privacy, tiny swim area, 10' beach, expensive to rent boat, kids liked hay rides and hogging the pool [peeing in them] and hot tubs. Cabins are expensive to rent, but ok and clean. Lots of activities for kids. good Sunday breakfast at lodge

This campground is noisy . People still yelling and talking loud at midnite. No enforcement of the quiet time. Sites are on top of each other and not very well maintained by the management. Trash all around.

This was an extremely loud camp ground with very little privacy and you can't book anything lakeside for the weekend it was one site on top of another and not to mention there was a little boy who was manning the boat rental station who tried to riddle us with rates like a car salesman usually I'd think it was...
