I found Cape Porpoise Motel by looking on line for motels that accept pets. I have to be honest the pictures on line didn't impress me but I thought I would give them a call. John was so nice and polite and I knew that it was going to be a very nice stay. We got there and we both...

My wife and I just returned from a several-days stay at the Cape Porpoise Motel, and I cannot say enough good things about it. From our arrival on Monday until our departure on Friday, John and Debra did everything possible to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The room was clean and well-appointed, with excellent daily housekeeping and linen service....

We've stayed in many hotels, inns, and B&Bs in the Kennebunkport area, and this charming motel has now become my favorite! It is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the linens are soft (I hate scratchy towels and rough sheets!). The owners, John & Deb, treat you like family and are so accommodating; they go above & beyond to...

I try to make it to Maine every summer, which is a long drive from Wyoming. But when I do make it to Kennebunkport- there is no better place to stay that the Cape Porpoise Motel. The rooms are beyond comfortable and clean and the servicce is so polite. The only drawback is there is no swimming pool, but hey...

My wife and I stayed here for one night in late August. We had read the great reviews on TripAdvisor about this place, so decided to give it a try. However, we were quite disappointed by the motel... Upon checking in, we dropped off our luggage and turned on the air conditioning because it was very humid because of thunderstorms...

After all the wonderful comments we have received from guests all around the world , I was totally dismayed to receive such a negative review. I knew the day would come when we would not meet someone's expectations but the misguided negativity and slanderous insinuation of this review was unconscionable. I whole heartedly object to manner in which we were...

John and Deb have a wonderful place to stay and relax. The efficiency was super clean and comfortable. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel like friends. The fresh morning coffe and baked goods were a plus. We will return. M&H Haupt, Ormond Beach FL

We were travelling around with friends, and are delighted to have found the Cape Porpoise Motel on the internet and booked it from England.. We made our choice as a result of checking the reviews on Trip Adviser, and were not disappointed! We stayed for two nights, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Motel is in a beautiful location, and...

We had the pleasure of staying here for a week in the efficiency unit and had a wonderful time. Cape Porpoise is a lovely village--beautiful, quaint harbor, outstanding restaurants, and close to both Kennebunkport, as well as Kennebunk, Maine. We like it also as a central location for day trips to Cambridge & Boston, the north shore communities in MA,...

We had a delightful stay in this small motel in Cape Porpoise. The place is very clean and comfortable, and the innkeeper is a very kind and friendly person -- and a great baker! I would highly recommend this place.

John and Debra are the hosts of this excellent home away from home. They cater to your every need and provide an extraordinary home-baked breakfast, knowledgeable suggestions as to places to see and visit, and the wood for a delightful evening camp-fire experience. Their open friendliness spills over to everyone and soon guests from several rooms are sharing a fire,...
