We truly enjoyed our stay at the Cape Porpoise Motel. Having been to the Kennebunks before, and never having explored Cape Porpoise, this was the perfect home base. Close to everything! Clean, quiet, and had all the amenities we could need. And the hosts and their pets are lovely! This is our new go-to place for our stays any where...

We've stayed at this simple, clean, nicely kept motel several times, and were always impressed by the friendly and personal touch that John and Debra provide. Despite being returning guests who always left our room in good shape, we were surprised to learn this year that our dog was not welcome. We had made reservations for later in the summer...

As the owner John says this is the quiet side of Kennebunkport - and this is not to complain about. The home baked goodies at breakfast are delicious. It is not fancy but spotlessly clean. The Cape Porpoise Chowder House at the end of the pier is very good for lobster and other shell fish as recommended by John

Always drove by but thought it would be out of price range..the pricing for what you get can only be described as great value for the money.clean newly painted rooms..The owners treat you like family..sent us home with homemade corn muffin tops. Right in the heart of Cape Porpoise...a must stay..not overly fancy but super clean and the treatment is...

This is an excellent mom and pop coastal motel. Basic, clean accommodations with an assortment of rooms within minutes of area beaches lighthouses, lobster shacks, restaurants and the Kennebunk region. John, the most personable owner of this nine unit establishment, can not do enough to make your stay enjoyable. We visited just before Memorial Day to avoid the crowds but...

Very nice and simple motel unit made especially pleasant by a) lovely owners b) home baked breakfast goodies and c) it's location. Although only a couple of miles physically away from the touristy Kennebunks, metaphorically it is miles and miles away - and all the better for it. Lovely quiet location next to some fantastic and simple food options. The...

We came from Europe with our 9 and 11 year olds for a few days by the beach, ending a busy 2 week stay in the US. We stayed in the mini apartment and it was perfect for us- simple but comfortable and clean. We were made most welcome by John, and enjoyed excellent hospitality including the legendary baked breakfasts...

My husband, our 11 year old daughter, our dog and myself stayed here over Columbus Day weekend. We stayed in the efficientcy apartment. The apartment was very clean and homey. We liked that we were able to make our own meals in the little kitchen instead of going out to eat every night. Breakfast was lovely...baked goods as well as...

My husband, myself and my dog checked into this lovely B & B. The owners of this establishment, Debra and John couldn't have been more helpful. Their hospitality was over the top. And not to mention the delicious coffee and homemade goodies that were served for breakfast. The scones were my favorite! The room had double beds and our bed...
