We stayed three nights--two in the Rose room (main house) and one in an upscale room in the Carriage House. Both were excellent accommodations--clean, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The grounds are well groomed and inviting; the patios and back yard are immense and, if it's good weather, offer a nice place to relax. The two-course breakfasts were delicious. Service...

We just came back from a fabulous three-night stay at the Hawthorn Inn. The home is simply lovely inside and out! It’s maintained beautifully and is immaculately clean. We had many relatives staying at once, so I got to see several of the gorgeous rooms. My family stayed in the Jillian Suite and the Rose Room, which were beautiful and...

The inn itself is a really large, fully updated, Victorian-style home. We chose to stay at one of the rooms in the carriage house (the Norfolk, I believe) because we thought it would be a little quieter. The room we had was really very large, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was also very large and clean, with a large Jacuzzi...

We stayed in the upstairs Turret room for 2 nights. Multiple windows had plenty of light and nice day outlook with good shading at night. Bed was comfortable and room a good size to spread luggage. The house itself has lots of elegant charm and character. Location is within easy walking distance of the town centre and, although on an...

Very pretty Inn. We stayed in the carriage house which was very private, we had a lovely view of Camden Harbor. Location was great, very private but you walk a couple of blocks and your in the middle of town. They served a delicious healthy breakfast and we chatted with other travelers from across the country.

It is difficult to describe the simple elegance and mesmerizing comfort of the Hawthorn Inn. It is a true jewel. We stayed in the Brougham Room of the Carriage House for two nights. Just saying "Carriage House" evokes rural luxury. And this delivered. Both of us spent awhile just marveling at the tasteful, homey coziness of the place. You could...

My new husband and I were invited to a wedding at the Hawthorn Inn one month after our wedding New Years Eve 2013. It was a fabulous time; Maryann arranged for us to get our nails and hair done, the breakfasts were amazing, and the Inn is proudly kept in tip top shape. The wedding dinner was as spectacular as...

My husband and I met with friends for Christmas By The Sea in Camden. Our friends found this inn and recommended we stay. Our past experience with inns has been less than favorable however, Maryanne was fantastic! The breakfasts she made for us were amazing and the location of her inn to downtown and the weekend long festivities was great!...

Lovely hotel, nice decor and very freindly staff. We got a free upgrade when we stayed. Also, my wife and I got engaged here so it is one place we will never forget. The breakfast was very very nice especially. Short walk to very nice town.
