My wife and I stayed two nights in the suite and were enthralled. Everyone was friendly, the space was ample and well-appointed and there was clear attention to basics such as outlets, charging stations and the like. The continental breakfast was simple and high quality. The hotel is an easy walk to Maine St. and to the Bowdoin campus. We...

"The Daniel" is a new name for this property which was formerly The Captain Daniel Stone Inn. We have enjoyed the property under both names. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and newly and tastefully redecorated. Excellent bed and bedding. Good wifi internet and cable television. Our room overlooked the river. There are comfortable public areas including a fitness center....

We recently stayed at the Daniel in Brunswick, ME. It is a charming, updated, lovely hotel in a great community. Reservations were a breeze as was checkin. Our queen room was clean, spacious and comfortable with several amenities--- free WiFi, lots of cable channels, a small fridge, good lighting, great shower and a fine bed. We enjoyed the free breakfast,...

This was the second year in a row my husband and I traveled here for Christmas night. It is pet friendly, is a very comfortable, pretty, and cozy atmosphere. It is close enough to town, but far enough to be quiet. I truly love this place.

Hotel was very clean, beds very comfortable and every staff member was smiling and helpful. Free appetizer given for in-house dining; no kids menu. Good food, upscale touches, nice decor. Beautiful hotel lobby, small but classy. Stayed in a second-floor suite for one night. French doors separated living area with pull out couch from bedroom- curtains on door are on...

I stopped here for the night on my way up the Maine coast. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and felt very much at home. The hotel is simply, but elegantly decorated, and our budget room was beautifully presented with features above it's price point. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was decent, and staff were very...

Had stayed here a few years ago and I must say it was decent then and only improved over the years. The continental breakfast was well put together, the coffee was excellently brewed and seems like it must have passed a taste test, juice was fresh and the muffins and granola great too. Room improvements included extra plugs at each...
