Absolutely wonderful hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk upgraded our room at no extra cost. She suggested a great resturant for dinner on the river. The room was very clean and it was the perfect stay for our honeymoon! The next time we come to Maine we will stay here again!

My wife, son, and I were passing through Bangor and stayed at Vacation Land because of the amenities and price. We enjoyed the décor and friendly staff and nice guest rooms. Breakfast was defiantly a plus. We highly recommend this property.

We snagged a double queen room for a great discount off of Priceline. The bedding was wonderfully soft and smelled fresh and flowery. All the spaces at the Inn were clean, tidy, and thematically decorated with Maine concepts. Breakfast (5 to 10am) was held in a very home-y and clean dining area and included hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels, cereal,...

Friendly & welcoming staff, clean comfortable room, and a satisfactory Continental breakfast. Nothing fancy but not a fancy price either, good value for where & what it is. Recommended for a road trip overnight stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Vacationland Inn while visiting "nearby" Acadia. The rooms were decorated with a coastal flair reminiscent of light houses and surf. The rooms were clean, but dated, circa 1970s. I enjoy historic hotels, so this wasn't a problem. They included desk, Keurig coffee makers (very nice), flat screen TV, and work desk. My only...

Don't be fooled by the name of this place or the pictures of seashore stuff. This is an average motel on a nondescript urban road. They've created a fake little seaside "boardwalk" indoors ... kind of weird, but amusing if you're in the mood. Staff very friendly, rooms clean and generally ok.

This hotel is dated but the front desk staff do try very hard to make you feel welcomed. The rooms are clean however time is starting to show on some of the furniture. If you are only staying overnight don't let this review turn you away. As well there is an excellent family restaurant a 2 minute walk (next door)....

Our visit started in the beautifully designed lobby with an attendant that made the process a smooth one. Immediately, they offered advice on the area before directing us to a "coastal Maine" designed room. The character and thought added to each room was incredible and the room was kept spotless. Definitely don't miss the delicious, complimentary breakfast in the lodge-like...
