Very good hotel in a picturesque setting. The rooms were very clean, however the decor could do with a facelift. The bathroom was fairly spacious with plenty of towels. Breakfast in the Tugboat was nice, eggs, bacon, pastries, muffins good coffee and fruit juices. The Harbour view from all blocks of the hotel was awesome. Plenty restaurants within walking distance....

Where to start??!! My wife and I visited Boothbay Harbor in November for the Festival of Lights at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. A beautiful sight to see, indeed! The Tugboat Inn had a great rate so we decided to stay overnight instead of making the 3 hour trip home. What a great decision! Our room was clean, updated, and...

So glad to be able to spend a midcoast New Years Eve this year. The rooms have a spectacular view of the harbor and are conveniently located in downtown Boothbay. Friendly staff made sure all guests were aware of what was open and all the special things happening for New Year.

Loved it! The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. Beautiful view! Many shops and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and pastries and coffee were available in the morning.

Took our kids and their significant others to Boothbay for the Botanical Gardens light show. I rented 3 rooms with king beds. The kids were amazed at the view from the rooms. It was very quiet. We like a cold room for sleeping so I did get up in the middle of the night to shut the heater off as...

Traveled from home in Kennebunkport for "Gardens Aglow" and chose The Tugboat Inn for an over-night. A welcoming, friendly staff greeted us, making sure we knew the best way to get to the Gardens (a free shuttle available close the Tugboat, which we used) and upon request offered several restaurants for our consideration. Our room was comfortable, clean and with...

So glad the Tugboat is open later this year to accommodate for Gardens Aglow at the botanical gardens! And we were so enthralled with Boothbay Harbor and all the lights and exuberance! So glad the shops were open and look forward to Boothbay Harbor being a Christmas destination with ALL the shops and RESTAURANTS on board to EMBRACE WINTER!!

Friendly staff and was able to get us in our room early. Rooms are small and need to be updated. Room was clean and had a view of the harbor. We were here for the Maine Botanical Gardens of Festival of lights. Well worth the trip to see this.

We traveled to Boothbay Harbor in November. We have an older dog who we could not leave at home , and The Tugboat Inn has a few rooms for for pets. Our room overlooked the water. We were thrilled with the room. Our big guy loved sitting out on the deck . He had never climbed steps before but by...

We visited Boothbay Harbour to see the light show at the Maine Botanical Gardens in early December. We decided on a Thursday so to avoid the crowds even then it was a little crowded but well worth the drive. The trails were a little wet but it is December in Maine. The light show is spectacular and an easy walk...
