The inn is made up of a number of cottages and cabins sprinkled around a promontory, with extensive grounds and walking trails. The layout of our cottage (eight rooms on two floors) was superb. We had a second floor room, with an outer and an inner door separated by a short corridor, so it was quiet as well as wonderfully...

Great private location if you want a real escape. You must drive to any other restaurants, shops, etc., or take their van or boat shuttle into town. Make sure you get a room with ocean view. Room and amenities seemed a bit uneven: very low quality paper products and mediocre bedding, but nice robes and towels. Whole resort just seemed...

With the first step from my car, I could smell the fresh air with the saltwater aroma. I knew I would enjoy our vacation at the SPI. Magnificent vistas, friendly and professional staff, extensive options for activities at the SPI, excellent food, hiking trails, multiple off-leash dog parks nearby, and close proximity to Boothbay Harbor's stores and restaurants all made...

Stayed at SPI for four nights in late Sept/early Oct 2015 in one of the Woodlawn Cottages. Would have preferred a room with a view of the harbor but enough of a price difference to just enjoy the view from one of the many Adirondack chairs on the grounds. The Bogie restaurant was good and the 88 was even better...

The Inn is quite good, with a satisfactory range and quality of activities and infrastructure, good, friendly, helpful staff, excellent restaurants, spacious rooms, but its greatest asset is its location: Spruce point, perhaps the most beautiful coastal spot by charming Boothbay Harbor. Good for both families and couples - you can't go wrong with choice, if anything because of the...

The property is located on a small peninsula, a 5 minute drive (or 10 minute bike ride) from the Boothbay town center. We stayed in one of the houses/cottages, Starboard C. It featured an ocean view from the quaint family room. The ceilings are a bit low, but that's part of the character here. One of the blinds in the...

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your recent visit to the Inn. I was pleased to hear that you enjoyed our location and Chef Fain's clam chowder! I spoke with the maintenance manager this morning --- the blind, phone line, and batteries were taken care of the moment your hotel survey was received. Thank you again for letting us...

Pulled into this wonderful property mid afternoon on a rainy day so we weren't able to take advantage of the amenities. Decided to go off property for dinner when we heard the restaurant was booked. Settled in for a good nights sleep in a great little cottage when we were waken by the sound of fog horns that continued throughout...

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your recent visit to Spruce Point Inn. I am sorry that the Burnt Island fog signal interrupted your rest. In the future, please do not hesitate to contact the front desk --- there are Bose sound machines and disposable ear plugs available at any time. Please feel free to contact me directly when...

Some friends happened to be staying at the inn during the time we were scheduled to visit Maine in late September. After looking at Spruce Point's website, decided to stay for a couple of nights. Now I wish we had stayed at least another 2. We booked Room 2, Holland, in the Main Inn building. Large, lovely, light filled room...

My daughter and I recently spent 5 wonderful days at Spruce Point . The staff greatly us warmly and were great throughout our stay. The food was the best that we had throughout Booth Bay. We stayed in Seabreeze and another room and the accommodations were excellent. This is a magnificent and magical place, with the vast ocean views with...
