If you are looking for a good old fashioned motel, this is your pick! Modest , two full sized beds, small space ,tiny bathroom, stall shower, working window a/C. That is it. Park immediately in front of motel room. Not an Inn. Busy highway out front, but set back is fine. Trip down memory lane!!!!

After driving Route 2 through Vermont and New Hampshire most of the afternoon we decided at 6pm that we had better start looking for a place to stay... flying by the seat of our pants. We drove past The Inn at the Rostay and ended up turning around because it was the first appealing place we saw in an hour.... More

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. They have thought of everything!! From soap and shampoo dispensers in the showers to bug spray in a lovely bbq wooded area. The owners and their children are extremely warm and friendly. Awesome experience and a wonderful place to stay...we LOVED it!!

I stayed one night on my way to northern Maine for work and the stay was excellent. The hostess was extremely friendly, very accommodating, the room was very clean and the $8 breakfast in the morning was delicious!!!

We stayed here one night before hubby participated in the Tough Mountain Challenge. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The rooms were standard, but very clean. Breakfast was cooked-to-order and was the perfect start to our day. All in all, a great stay.

Loved the way they decorated with the Maine black bears and pine trees! Breakfast was cooked to order, delicious and fast. Service was very friendly and they aimed to please. Close by the ski area where the concert we attended was held. Price was affordable and was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful spot for family, with a focus on fun. Bbq, hot tub, pool, lovely view close by everything. I will return. The fact that the tv was not modern didn't matter. You don't go on vacation to watch tv. Quiet and peaceful certainly. I really appreciated that we were able to sing in early they were very willing and cordial.

I will probably never stay anywhere else but the Rostay when I ski at Sunday River. This is actually a really delayed review, I stayed there with friends to celebrate a 21st birthday weekend back in January 2016. We booked a few days before and got the suite above the lodge. It was HUGE! so many beds, a kitchen and... More

I was on a business trip in Bethel for a week, and found this gem. The breakfast was included for me with the cost of the room, and there were several options. The room was just the right size for my needs and was quite comfortable. The bathroom needed some updates, but after talking to one of the owners about... More

Found this beautiful place on kayak, came up to Maine on a snowboarding tour around New England. I have never been more welcomed at an inn. Sonja was very accommodating seeing us last minute. They offer breakfast which was scrumptious as ever. I wish we spent more time to enjoy all the amenities. If you are like me and love... More
