We just spent three nights in early October at the Belfast Bay Inn. What a wonderful experience! Our third floor suite was a beautifully decorated welcoming retreat with a balcony and view of Belfast Harbor. It had everything we needed for a relaxing visit; including an extremely comfortable king-sized bed with luxurious linens, a large bathroom with Molton Brown bath...

We stayed here one night while exploring Maine. Each room is a suite. The one we were in was basically like an apartment. It had a large living area and kitchen that was stocked with granite countertops. The bathroom was very large with a double vanity and towels were very soft. Molton Brown bath products were in the bath. The...

Gorgeous property right in the middle of the downtown area, so quiet and elegant, nothing left out. Eddie and his wife have done a beautiful job on the property, which is elegantly furnished and beautifully decorated. Friend and I had a double queen room off of the lovely courtyard, where we had our breakfast the first day and felt like...

After extensive research, I booked a non suite room at Belfast Bay Inn for two nights. Upon checking in I knew this place will exceed my expectations! The lobby is gorgeous and cozy. My 4 year old daughter and I met Judith and Ed who are the nicest and most welcoming couple. Ed presented my daughter with a teddy bear...

After a very unpleasant surprise at an "upscale" Lincolnville property, we arrived at the Belfast Bay Inn hoping to find a place to stay for our 3 remaining nights in Midcoast Maine. We were stunned -we were warmly welcomed and shown to the most wonderful - not room - but lovely apartment with a balcony. It was furnished beautifully and...

If you can afford it, then you should stay here. The hotel is luxurious, the owners attentive, and the location within walking distance of downtown and the Harbour. Twice as expensive as the rest and well worth it. Breakfast served on the terrace was sublime. While you are in town, make sure to take a bay cruise on the Timberwind,...

What do you get when you cross a luxury hotel with a quaint B&B? The Belfast Bay Inn. I have stayed at many overnight establishments and this has been the best experience yet. Eddie and Judy are phenomenal hosts and it is obvious that this Inn is a labor of love. We stayed in rooms 103 and 104 which are...

My wife planned our two day stay and I must confess to being stunned when I walked into the room. It was beyond anything I had expected or ever experienced. I have been to fine Swiss, German, and French hotels, but this Inn is beyond those visits. Others have waxed poetic on this site about the Belfast Inn and the...

We rarely make reservations so sometimes we are scrambling to find somewhere to stay for the evening. An Internet search let us to this wonderful inn. It is elegant in everyway. There was a lot of love an attention put into designing it. Ed and Judy were are amazing. You can tell they truly love what they do. Breakfast was...

We arrived at the inn after a 40 mile ride on our tandem bike. The owners were incredibly accommodating to all our needs - to store the bike, tell us where the bike shop was, get ice cream, find a place for dinner, etc. Our room was huge and beautiful and had everything we needed but our favorite part was...
