The venue is beautiful...However IMO, several details were left out upon booking or could be included on the website that potentially could have been a deal breaker. I booked it to take pictures and get ready for my wedding Cons: ...18% gratuity (I carried my own bags up the stairs, you delivered biscuits/muffins and a mimosa bar, but then leave...

Dear Michelle. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. I am very pleased to hear that our staff made your stay pleasant. I apologize that you felt some of the services available (catering, gratuity) were overpriced. To clarify, gratuity for an event does not include housekeeping, The envelope is left for our guests convenience, but...

What a beautiful and peaceful place. I stayed two nights. It was so relaxing that I didn't want to leave. It's a perfect place to get away from it all. There are restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The Innkeeper, Linda was very personable and very nice. Breakfast was amazing. I will definitely be returning. ❤❤❤

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Dansereau House. The house is very charming. The rooms are spacious and the porches are great for reading a good book. The innkeeper Linda is friendly and provides great southern hospitality. The breakfast was delicious. It was fun meeting new people in the dining room over breakfast. If staying here, you must realize...

The cost for value is inadequate. We have paid $180 for one night. The room was not so clean. Hairs on the floor, musty smell in the beadroom. No welcome drinks as it use to be in a B&B. The breakfast was served in plastic cockery and microwave foods. The table sheet was not clean ... That's daylight robbery!

The Dansereau House hosted our son's wedding reception and the immediate family was able to stay there throughout the weekend. We were treated like family. The staff did an excellent job taking care of us for our special day. Great location for a true South Louisiana wedding!

The house is fabulous! I would change the decor a bit, but cost/value was great! Staff was very friendly and good breakfast! We drove to several plantations from this small town. Location was perfect.

We stayed one night only. When we arrived we had to walk around the back as no one answered the front door. Once we met Heidi, we were happy to be in good hands. Service is friendly and casual. She offered us a glass of wine and bacon brownies (yes!) which was very nice. The room was very luxurious and...

My wife and I really liked this B&B. It was very nice and quaint. The setup for breakfast is very nice also. The only thing that I would change is soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Other than that you cannot beat the price for what you receive. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Back and looking you get to enjoy the home and period antiques and great breakfast. Heidi is a friendly host that has the knack of making you feel right at home. Very comfortable bed with luxury linens. Quiet and plenty of room to roam. Large porches with chairs and a nice breeze for a gathering of good old Southern Hospitality...
