Most importantly, this hotel felt safe. Near the airport, convenient off the interstate, great staff and a clean/comfortable room met all of my requirements. Cost was lower than most with the level of comfort, so it really felt like a bargain.

As a mid-tier Hilton you'd expect a good experience and the Shreveport Hampton delivers in every respect. Clean and attractive throughout with friendly and helpful staffing at all levels. This is a nice hotel and deserves a favorable rating. The only wart, and one no facility

Lisa F, No we do not charge for parking your car at the hotel while you are flying out if you have reservation at the hotel. However we are limited on parking space so we can not guarantee "fly and park". If you do not have a reservation at the hotel we do charge a $5 fee per day. If you have any further question do call us at 318-636-4447 Thank you

Sir I wasn't trying to make your stay unpleasant. I'm sorry that the guy you talked to ahead of time, which his name is Jay .Did not accommodate you to your needs. Unfortunately I was not at work yet when you call ahead of time. When you came to check in, we only had a handful of rooms. We were almost booked that night. The rooms we had available you didn't want because they were to close to the elevator or ice machine. I picked the best room I could for you, I simply can not kick another guest out the room to accommodate you, then have them mad at me, to make you happy. Then, your room was not next to both the ice machine and elevator. Because the ice machine is at one end of the hall, the elevator is in the middle. So, that's impossible. Also, I did not at anytime make any "nasty" remarks to you. I kept asking you what you would like me to do, so I can make you happy. All you said was "don't worry about it and grab my managers card and walked off, while asking me for my name." Which you already knew my name because on December 24, 2015, you wrote a lovely comment about me. Stating "We had a great stay overnight. Stefanie made it all easy and smooth. She made it a very relaxing place to spend the night, she was pleasant, professional, and hard working to please the guest. Breakfast lady was also great (Hattie)." But unfortunately your one white lie, got me fired. Even though I had the security guard as a witness because he heard and watched the whole thing. You never know what the next person could be going threw,so before you jump to conclusions and want to lie and say nasty remarks about me being lousy. Take the time to thank about what your doing before you act.
Apparently "Micheal A" you failed to do your research before you jumped in the Kool-aid cause you obviously don't know the flavor. I do know his name his name is John B he is from Kingwood, Texas. I just accidently misposted it on the wrong spot of the website. Also, next time read his comments because his last one he was being negative on "great service and great knowledgeable staff" and you were not their that I recall or you wouldn't be writing this post. Because that would mean you knew what happened and you know the whole story but you don't, so you are just jumping to conclusions and thinking I'm blasting someone for no reason. Which I'm NOT. I am very attentive, my manager could tell you that. :) and yes I know how great the staff (employees) are and how knowledgeable they are, they are all my friends. :)
