Enjoyed be a lovely weekend at tartuf hotel while attending a wedding. Be warned that not all rooms have aircon. Look for that if visiting in summer. Lively location, great friendly staff and no problem finding English spoken. The small village has nothing as regards facilities so the hotel itself with it's pool and grounds is the attraction. Good place for a quiet timeout.
This is a lovely, quiet, calm hotel, surrounded by parkland in a village a few minutes from the Slovak town of Nitra. it's an ideal location for a wedding. Good food, friendly service and comfortable (if not luxurious) rooms located in the old (early 19th century?) manor house and in a newer extension. There's a lovely indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi for the morning after.
3 days in Nitra and all hotels were booked so had to stay outside, this was chosen as it looks amazing. Check was a little slow as there were 8 guys checking in at the same time. Room was in the old building, like a converted manor house... Had a little lounge area and a separate bedroom Was cool so turned off the AC.. But the unit would not shut down in the bedroom, called maintenance and they could not shut it down either. Eventually we were moved to another room..well a suite That was so big! Too big to be comfortable actually. Queen Ann bath so now where to hang the shower hose - So had to hold it! Pool was great, cool but great. Grounds and staff super. TBH I would not stay again, better for functions that to stay over is my comment.
Hotel is very nice, rooms in the hotel part are dated BUT everything is spotlessly clean, room servise is cleaning all the time, nice white sheets and towels. Hotel and grounds are maintained very well. Pool is good, maybe if they could focus a bit more on creating a spa rather than just pool.....Ok, the disappointment was food, had dinner twice and on both occasions food was average to not very good, they made a lot of effort with menu and pricing, expensive for how they executed it. I would come again but would not eat there sadly.
Went there for a private party and it looked amazing. Nice pool with the pond outside in the garden. Friendly staff that can do an extra mile for you. The place is beautiful with its art which could be little bit nicer.
Very nice hotel in nice quiet place. You can enjoy many sports possibilities, clean and nice rooms, nice and helpfull staff and very good food in the restaurant.Good for business trips, business meetings, conferences, as well as for family trips.
Perfect setting for a wedding. The hotel has good facilities with lovely public areas. The room we had was large, comfortable and extremely clean. The only problem was the air conditioning wasn't that good, but a chilled beer soon addressed that! Staff were very attentive and aimed to please. Would highly recommend this for a few days stay particularly if you want to explore the surrounding countryside, or get married!!
We've had our wedding there few years back ... but making a stop there for a lunch or dinner when being around .. Absolutelly refreshing place, either you make a stop for romantic linch or dinner, business meeting, or some bigger event .. ot just staying there for weekend, booking romantic room in Chateau and jist switching off Absolutelly relaxed place, team is relativelly young but very nice and focused on providing best possible service. Food is great there btw ...
Facilities were great - rooms comfortable, restaurant was nice with an ambitious menu. Bit more expensive than other local hotels but worth the extra money. Location is a bit tricky unless you are driving but local taxis were available to get into Nitra city centre. Would stay there again
Elegant and very big restaurant . IT is good to be reserved for special event as for example a marriage. Owner very Kind and available to let us visit all the structure without any problem. Big variaty of food.
