Have stayed here twice in last six months and regret to report that this place has continued to decline. Note this was before the Covid-19 emergency measures. Service is quite frankly a shambles. When I checked in and showed my platinum IHG card, the receptionist said she was too busy to process that and to simply write my number down so she could get back to it later. As a result I receive no recognition as a platinum member. I asked if the restaurant and bar were still open (aprox 2130hrs) only to be told she thought so. When I went in there was no bartender. Waited 15 minutes until one member of staff came and fidgeted behind the bar but would not serve me, waited another 5 minutes while she went and got someone. Then waited 45 minutes for my food order to come, where upon starters and main courses came all at once because the kitchen staff "wanted to go home early". Room was clean, tidy and quiet enough, but coffee machine did not work, nor did the shower as you got half shower and half tap water no matter which way you moved the controls. No bottled water in the room, and none in the small amenity shop by reception, in fact the shop was sold out of almost everything. In the morning there was no reception staff, and breakfast was not available either. I would not stay here again, due to the staff’s attitude and service. They simply do not give a dam about anybody. Even getting a drink at the bar is an epic. Never saw any signs of the hotel – airport shuttle bus they used to run. So give this place a miss, there is so much choice around New Orleans, its so easy to do better than this place.…
A very nice Holiday Inn. The room was clean and functional. They had a Tesla charger for our electric car, so big plus there. Very convenient on and off I-10. Onsite restaurant was nice. Had both dinner and breakfast there. We were traveling through the coronavirus so no one else was there. Hard to judge how busy things normally are.
Fantastic location close to the action. Tabetha at the front desk took great care of me and my team when we visited. Not only did she accommodate us perfectly, she went out of her way to make sure any issues we had were resolved. Great customer service!!!!
Mohammed took extra care to provide great service. Thanks. Hotel is clean and convenient location on the causeway. Good rate and even a Hertz car rental on site. Plenty of parking. Good dinner if you are too tired to go out.
I stayed here for one night. Everyone was friendly I was checked in as soon as I arrived and I enjoyed waking up to a hot breakfast. Mohommod at the restaurant was amazing he went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for my dining experience to be excellent. This is the kind of experience people should receive anytime they’re visiting an establishment. Great Job Holiday Inn!!
