A comfortable and convenient place to stay: favorable proximity to expressways and stores. Comfort controls are very responsive to desired needs. Storing, preparing and enjoying personal meals are a sure convenience. The jet streams in the tubs are a plus: During this visit parking was available at all times. Staff was very helpful and cordial.
It is 930pm, and every fire alarm in the entire building is currently flashing and screaming. The air conditioning unit in each room loudly rattles and groans Every Single Time it kicks on. You will wait for the water to get warm... and wait... and you will end up taking a lukewarm shower out of desperation, all Laura freakin Ingalls style. And the screaming, seizure flashing fire alarms are back on. Think I will get a refund for this night? I have my doubts!
Access to numerous sites and local food was excellent. Some staff members were eager to assist while others seemed uninterested. Property has several amenities available. Some of the property features (gate locks and floor landings) were less than ideal. The parking lot gate access point never worked, had to walk around the building each time to access the room area. Second floor landings are uneven and lean heavily away from the building presenting a struggle for some to walk without assistance.
When we arrived we were given a unit on the second floor. When we came to the unit we found a nest of some insect in the bathroom. We informed the receptionist, she came over and took a picture of this nest. After a while she moved us to the unit on the third floor. We had to drag our luggage to the third floor to a given unit. It was already about 11 pm, we just drove for 9 hours, were tire and really wanted to get some rest but the unit she moved us to was a smaller than we reserved. We informed the receptionist. After a while she finally gave us a unit on the first floor we was the correct one and we had to drag our luggage now to the first floor and get some rest. The resort is noisy, there were kids in the pool screaming, the adults were also talking very laude and it was in the evening. But the resort stuff does not seemed like they care. The pool was cleaned during the week but on the weekend it remained dirty. The provided breakfast was OK. …
We were pleasantly surprised that these rooms were like little apartments. The decor is a little dated but it was nice as were the people that work there. The elevator was down when we arrived but was fixed shortly after. The breakfast is just juice and packaged sweets. The pool is nice. WiFi worked well. The bed was new.
