Excellent room - everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Fabulously helpful staff on the desk - thank you especially, Linda. Good breakfast that was up to the standard you expect. Refreshing drink in the lobby in the afternoon/evening for check-in.
For the price, this hotel is great! The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. This is just what I needed after a long day of training. I would definitely recommend for business travel!

If this is the Sleep Inn & Suites in Metairie. There is not much around it that is walkable. It is not far from a Main Street with a lot of food restaurants but it is about half mile away and you would be walking on very busy road or through what appeared to be commercial area. ( with car repair businesses, bars, towing business etc) you could take cab into New Orleans from there or probably bus and then you could walk around New Orleans area
