I booked the hotel days ahead and still wasn't ready when I arrived. The freezer had hair in it along with a spilled drink that was never cleaned out. Sink was clogged. Floors dirty and damp. Terrible experience
I called 1 hour before to verify my reservation with my confirmation number and they had given same confirmation to someone else. I was put in a king bed, I called for extra sheets to make a pallet for my children and IT took 2.5 hours to get that. They charged me $ 150. For one night after I paid $ 138. For 2. They were supposed to get me a double Saturday morning I went to office and they had none so finally they found one and did not charge me for that night. I went to room found cigarettes, license, ebt cards all on counter. The room had food in IT the bath is disgusting. Music all night Saturday night, I would never suggest anyone to stay here.
We showed up late. Dingy motel, but was told that it was under construction. We just needed a place to lay our heads, so suffered through it. Stained walls, stale smell, clogged sink- could only brush our teeth. As soon as the sun came up we were out of there. We never got a receipt. The “$50 deposit” was actually $150, plus cost of motel stay. When asked about it and was told it was a mistake and it was credited back. IT WASNT. asked upper management and they said we left the sink on and flooded the room. We were scared to even use the sink, we literally wet our tooth brush and that’s it!! Our spit would even drain. When calling back they gave us the run around and now we are out $150!! DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY MIGHT HAVE TOOK THE $50 DEPOSIT BUT THEY PUNCHED IN $150 ON THE CREDIT CARD MACHINE AND ARE POCKETING THE OTHER $100. THEY WILL WITH A CLEAR CONSCIENCE STEAL YOUR MONEY. They have done it to others read the reviews!! A REAL CESSPOOL!!…
A friend and I stayed here one night as we were traveling on our vacation. The hotel is set up with a courtyard in the middle. The building is shaped something like a triangle, and the cars park in the middle. The employees we encountered were very nice. The room was just okay. The beds were fairly comfortable. Someone had put a hole in the wall by the air conditioning unit, and there were pillows missing. The pillow cases were there, but the pillows were not. I spoke to the lady at the front desk, and she took down the information so we would not be charged for damage already done to the room. The room itself was mostly clean. A few other guests stood around and watched us unload the car. That was a little weird, so we made sure everything was locked up in between taking suitcases from the car to the room. Overall, it was not too bad.…
Honestly, reading recent reviews of this property scared me. We stay at La Quinta because of their pet policy, and I was expecting filth and disappointment, and the possibility of needing to find another hotel after 9+ hours in the car. It was not filthy, but it certainly was far from the nicest La Quinta we’ve stayed in. It was as clean as it could have been in the old condition it was in, there was a slight smell to the room (which was freezing when we entered, the A/C on 60). As others said, plugging things in was a challenge (there was a power strip on the dresser but all outlets were behind furniture), and the TV had pixilated channels that were not watchable and other channels unavailable. I did not feel unsafe, it was fairly quiet after 10 PM although you could still hear people moving about and if you have a dog with FOMO on high alert like we do you may not have the most restful sleep. Water pressure in the sink wasn’t great and the towel rack did fall off the wall. We didn’t shower so I can’t speak to the water pressure or temperature there, we were just passing through on a trip from TX to WV so we just needed to check in, sleep, and check out which is what we did and it was fine for that one night. Desk service was friendly and efficient at check-in and check out. They even changed our room to the first floor on request at check-in. The breakfast bag was a nice touch, but definitely not allergen-friendly.…
