We were expecting Quirky, and we like that. What we weren't expecting was a total lack of housekeeping. Our room, The Gallerie, on the ground floor, had absolutely nowhere to put any clothes or belongings. No wardrobe, shelf, chest of drawers, not even a hook. I had to lay everything on the floor, which was so dirty that I had... More

It's a party on the back porch. Friendly people, great music, cold beer. We were there on Wednesday night and it was locals night. The bar is a few windows that you walk up to and had a decent selection. All in all a good time.

Blue Moon was amazing value for money, outside of Mardi Gras season! We had the double bunk in the shared room for less than $20 a night, and stayed 2 nights on the whole. The people who help run this place are so friendly. It's a little rough-and-ready, in a good way!

We were given a room on the ground floor which shares a wall with the back of the stage in the bar. The air conditioner sucks air in from the bar and the room is dark, dirty and smelly. What they forget to tell you on their website is that the windows are completely boarded up, so it feels unbearably... More

I stayed in the dorm room for a couple of nights. Felt like staying at my dear great-aunt's old house. Yeah, it's a little worn in, but I thought the bathrooms, kitchen and common areas seemed very clean considering the age of the place. It's a hostel - not a five star hotel. Some of the other reviews aren't stellar,... More

My Wife and another couple were doing the smaller City feel before hitting NO for Halloween. When I was told Bungalow I thought it wasn't going to be much. This is a proper two bedroom home with one bathroom in between them. It was clean, classic and well appointed. Big L couch with a flat screen, wifi and a kitchen... More

I often say in reviewing a hotel that it's not for everyone, and that goes double for this place. I liked it, but some people would hate it. One important caveat before I give you the details: Check-in is from 5-10 p.m. It actually does say that on the website but it's easy to miss. So don't arrive at 3... More

After reserving and paying for my boyfriend and I room. We arrived around 11:00PM and the door guy named will started to yell at us saying we aren't allowed there and we can't get a refund until next day and he doesn't owe us any explanation and cursing at us with alot of rage. We eventually got refund back around... More

I stayed in this guesthouse together with my husband for 1 night, and we really enjoyed it. We stayed in the balcony room, with its own private balcony and a proper door (not all rooms here have real doors, some only have a curtain). Room was large, nicely decorated, bed was comfortable as well. Bathroom was OK. There is a... More

This is definitely a one night, passing through facility. The room was adequate however the bathroom was horrible. It was in a shared hallway, no air conditioning and the locks did not work. If you are looking for comfort, this is not the place. The service was excellent and the attendant at the desk was helpful and courteous. The place... More
