Power went out Monday morning. I could not attend my business meeting via WiFi and because I had no power source. Bathroom tub did not drain and water leaked on floor. Leticia was very nice and helpful so she made the stay pleasant. Thank you!
I know everyone is under the strain of COVID but the problems associated with this hotel is poor management. My room was filthy. The bathroom had a deep layer of soap scum build up in the bathtub/shower. The couch looked like it had as much DNA on it than a CSI episode. There were a pair of socks wadded up in the corner of the room. Light bulbs were burnt out over the bed. No desk chair; they did bring one when requested. The only thing missing from the experience were hookers in the hallways. When I asked for a new room, I was rudely told that because of all the contractors there were no available rooms. (Note: The young man addressing me had air buds in his ears while listening to music. His hoodie was pulled up over his head) Wyndham needs to do a secret shopper type audit on this hotel. I am both a Wyndham time share owner and an awards member. This is far below their expected standards. I know this review sounds "over the top", but I have never stayed in a place like this.…
I love La Quinta by Wyndham as brand overall, but this property is poorly managed and maintained. The exterior is dated, the AC does not work, and the guest rooms are dirty (see photos). Management, Wyndham, and ownership should strive for better quality and cleanliness; especially, for an Upper-Midscale brand. I won’t be staying here in the future.
This hotel has gone down hill. Use to be a nice well maintained hotel, but not anymore. Thr first room the a/c didn't work tv remote didn't work and the deadbolt didn't work. So tjey moved mecto amother room and the light fixture near the bed was falling off of the wall and the shower floor was bowed so bad when you step on it it would sink down about an inch and when you took yout foot off it would pop back up
The Staff was very Friendly and made the Stay a Positive experience. I know it was during Covid-19 and the Pandemic, but I was disappointed with most/all the Hotel Amenities being closed. I was very happy with the Cleaning aspect of the hotel and the availability of Hand Sanitizer at the Elevators. Not bad for the Price Point. I didn't care for the constant Smell of Marijuana and the Dog barking. It can get Loud depending upon where your room is and who is around you.
