I stayed at this hotel and I couldn’t sleep after seeing a roach in my room. After seeing one I start looking around and start to see more. The lady at the front desk didn’t offer to move me into another room. I lost sleep the whole night and end up going to another hotel. I wouldn’t recommend nobody to stay there. I am a Ambassador elite member with Marriott and I never experienced nothing like that before. I do have photos and video. Ugh
Stayed here for 4 nights with my son, while on a father son trip. The hotel is quite dated and showing wear. It was reasonably clean, but the pool seemed to lack maintenance. Breakfast and breakfast staff were very good. Rooms were ok. Pull out sofa came with a pillow and blanket. No sheets. Had to ask for sheets.
From the moment I arrived, the check-in was very accommodating to my requests. Michael, the person that greeted me, went above and beyond to make my 2 week stay wonderful. He even texted me with a phone so we could text any other things that I need. Centrally located, restaurants, shops, movie theater and Malls within walking distance. Also by being so close to the River, plantations are not to far and show how New Orleans started. Less than 20 to the Quarter and 10 to airport, makes it very convenient. It sits in a very quiet warehouse area that makes it very safe. Could not have asked for a better Christmas and New Year hotel stay.
Stayed in TownePlace before but didn’t have problem. But this one is a nightmare! We found dog ticks in the room! There are couple of huge dogs in the other rooms. The hotel might have high occupancy and the breakfast room is all packed! Management should open another room for breakfast to ease the traffic! Original plan is to stay three night and have to check out immediately to avoid sleeping with the dogs and the dog ticks!
Got into New Orleans after flying all day. The staff at this hotel were incredibly kind and accommodating (gave the fam cookies at check-in!). Check-in was fast, and the room was very clean. I’m very picky with rooms, and it passed my standard and even had a nice pull out couch for the kids. Very pleased. Breakfast was great, too! Will be staying here every trip to NOLA.
