Staying at the Phong Nha Farmstay is a great experience! There is a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, with live music, outdoor films, swimming pool, good interaction with other guests, excellent food and drink, and very friendly staff. But the tours available are outstanding - including visiting the most awe inspiring cave I have ever seen, as well as mud baths, zipwireing,...

Had a great stay at Farm Stay. It is placed in the most beautiful setting surrounded by the countryside and mountains. You can chill in a hammock and soak in the views or watch the sunset. Has a good pool as well if you fancy taking a dip. Staff are super friendly and helpful and there is lots to do...

The rooms are clean and well fitted, the restaurant is lovely and the staff are amazing. I spent three weeks in Vietnam, this was one of the highlights the only downside was that I had booked two nights when I should have booked longer! I went on the Abandoned Valley Jungle Trek which was great but all of the tours...

From the very comfortable beds, pillows and rooms to the tours and staff - this is one professional outfit who are clearly committed to providing their guests with useful, reliable and knowledgable information to get the very most out of their stay. They have movie nights, music nights and a special food menu each day. There are always a handful...

Coming from Hanoi and just off a sleeper train, the Farmstay was perfect to relax and take in the stunning surroundings of phong nha. Incredibly helpful staff who speak really good English. Everyone goes out of their way to make your stay as comfy as possible without it feeling over the top which is a great asset. We stayed in...

A one of its kind stay because it gives you comforts of a hotel but in no time you start feeling that you have been staying here forever and that is to do with some lovely people who run it. I would like to give special mention to Mai who is more than eager to help, never hassled and wears...

Thanks Esther, for taking the time to write your glowing review of your stay with us at Phong Nha. While we are not a luxury hotel, we do love sending happy, satisfied guests away from the Farmstay. We are really happy you enjoyed your time with us and look forward to meeting you again if you do return to Phong...

Myself and friends came here for lunch. I ordered the vegetable and noodle soup which was delicious- and reasonably priced! (35k) big, generous servings for the prices. I would recommend cycling there if you're staying in Phong Nha as the cycle is beautiful and the view at the end when you're sat eating is amazing.

I only have positive things to say about the Farmstay. I highly recommend the experience to anyone! It's a great jumping point to explore the Phong Nha National Park. Our room was lovely, and the staff very helpful. It was nice to finish a long day with a beer, looking at the sun set over the rice paddies. Very relaxing.

I stayed here for 2 nights over my birthday and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The staff are super friendly and really make an effort to meet your needs. What I really liked was the sincerity and personable approach all the staff possessed. They are all lovely and there is a real sense of 'family' and 'home'...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We, Ben and Bich, had an epiphany to start a tourism business in the middle of nowhere and ourfamily and the rest of the community thought we were mad. Now half of them think it was their idea. Our Mission statement was to create what we'd want if we were on holiday, in this then remote and still beautiful region of northern central Vietnam. Comfortable beds, nice views, a swimming pool, full bar, tasty food and top quality tours/activities. Winning formula, so we thought! We get a lot of customers looking for something different to a backpacker hostel scene, but with a fun atmosphere. Not a vietnamese hotel atmosphere either. Something unique. Something for everybody. Immerse yourself in the magic of remote rural Vietnam, between the coast and the mountains, in the northern Central region just now being discovered by mainstream tourism. Take yourself on a trip into a photographer's paradise. Our new French Colonial style accommodation, set in the idyllic surroundings of rice paddy fields on the edge of the famous Phong Nha-Ke Bang World Heritage National Park just off the Ho Chi Minh Trail, is the ideal base for wild adventures that you have only dreamed about... or simply take time to experience the local village life or chill by the pool. There are many tour and do it yourself options to keep you busy for a few days. Send us an email for more information. ... more   less
