If you are looking for a quiet place to recover between amazing cave tours, away from honking vehicles and backpacker bars, this is THE PLACE. We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly staff, delicious food, scenic views and lovely grounds at the Farmstay. As we (my 75 year old mom, sister, and daughters- 10 and 13) stayed four nights/days, we were able...

I have just returned from 3 weeks in Vietnam and Phong Nha and the Farmstay were a definite highlight of the trip. The Farmstay and surrounding area were completely unique from anywhere else I travelled. The area is known for its caves which are breathtaking but what would bring me back was how friendly and open the people are. The...

We spent 2 nights and 3 days in Phong Nha Farmstay and the national park and it was definitely one of our highlights of the trip. The village is located in the middle of rice paddies, surrounded by limestone rocks and it is just fascinating how many different shades of green exist. The Farmstay itself was one of the best...

If you don't come to Phong Nha then you haven't "done" Vietnam. We stayed here for just over a week and still felt that we needed to stay longer. Most people miss this area altogether and the lucky ones that find it generally only stay a couple of days. We are in Vietnam for 3 months and generally only do...

Homestay's seem to be the thing of Vietnam and we have stayed in a few. Phong Nha National Park / Town was recommended to us by the owner of a homestay in Laos. We booked this homestay due to the photos and comments on Trip Advisor. The homestay couldn't have been any better. There was an English speaking young lady...

On a random whim we hooked up with an opportunity to ride up to Phong Na on Harley Davidson motorcycle and the farmstay was recommended to us. What a magical spot. You don't have to arrive on a Harley by the way. We arrived late afternoon in time to capture the most incredible sunset positioned on the edge of vast...

I stayed here for two nights, and wish it had been longer. The Farmstay is in a tranquil, idyllic spot a few kilometres from Phong Nha town - takes about 45-60 mins on a bicycle. However, the on-site bar and restaurant are both excellent, so you really have no need to go elsewhere. My room was small but comfortable, with...

We had 3 great nights for about $525 AUD which included tours to Paradise Cave and Ma Da valley (both great experiences) and breakfast / dinner everyday (and laundry) The standout factor is the staff friendliness and willingness to make your stay fun. A real mixed age commmunal vibe is created so the lounge and outdoor movies are fun places...

We stayed at the farmstay for 5 nights. We were travelling with kids (4 and 7 years old) and had a great time exploring the countryside, the small villages and daily life on bicycles as well as the truly spectacular national park, including the caves, on a private tour. The farmstay is located in the countryside with excellent views of...

The minute we arrived in Phong Nha Farmstay. We were greeted with warmth. There was a book full of activities to choose from. Lots of caves, Phong Nha is known for. But the highlight of my 3 days stay with them was my bike ride with Quynh provided by Gigi (Guillaume) for free. We biked the countryside on a dirt...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We, Ben and Bich, had an epiphany to start a tourism business in the middle of nowhere and ourfamily and the rest of the community thought we were mad. Now half of them think it was their idea. Our Mission statement was to create what we'd want if we were on holiday, in this then remote and still beautiful region of northern central Vietnam. Comfortable beds, nice views, a swimming pool, full bar, tasty food and top quality tours/activities. Winning formula, so we thought! We get a lot of customers looking for something different to a backpacker hostel scene, but with a fun atmosphere. Not a vietnamese hotel atmosphere either. Something unique. Something for everybody. Immerse yourself in the magic of remote rural Vietnam, between the coast and the mountains, in the northern Central region just now being discovered by mainstream tourism. Take yourself on a trip into a photographer's paradise. Our new French Colonial style accommodation, set in the idyllic surroundings of rice paddy fields on the edge of the famous Phong Nha-Ke Bang World Heritage National Park just off the Ho Chi Minh Trail, is the ideal base for wild adventures that you have only dreamed about... or simply take time to experience the local village life or chill by the pool. There are many tour and do it yourself options to keep you busy for a few days. Send us an email for more information. ... more   less
