My stay at the hotel was very nice! The staff treated us with warm smiles and excellent service. We got a room that was newly renovated and it was beautiful. I had a great time overall. I will stay there again!

Not enough lobby help. A/C unit by bed is loud. Nice access off of i10 toward New Orleans in a busy part of Baton Rouge. We usually stay there on this annual golf outing since CCLA is close and plenty of nice restaurants around. With some attentive management and a better hvac system this would be a good property.

This Hyatt was formerly another hotel. Hyatt has renovated and trying to train the staff. One manager from Miami (forgot her name) was very helpful and working from the morning breakfast through the evening. But other staff were not as helpful. I arrived very early (9am), knowing that my room would most likely not be ready, and it wasn't. I... More

I stayed at the Hyatt Place during a recent stay in Baton Rouge. While the facility is nice, it was very clear that the staff was unable to keep up with the needs of the customer. I had to go down to the main desk almost every day to beg for clean towels, the room was not cleaned well, if... More

Stayed here for almost 2 weeks for work in aftermath of flood. It was apparent that the housekeeping staff was overwhelmed and understaffed--and that the supply of clean towels was lacking. Went days without room being vacuumed or bathroom floor cleaned-bed was made every day but little else (trash cans not emptied, e.g.) I know this was a trying time,... More

Always a great stay when in Baton Rouge. Staff always makes me feel welcome and the rooms are great with a great work desk and sectional to watch tv without having to lay on the bed the whole time. Lobby is great for meeting with friend or clients.

This hotel has been upgraded and the rooms are big with a sitting area and a larger than normal size T V. Elevators are a little slow. Good parking and rooms are very clean and well kept. Small bar and not much food choices. Great free breakfast.

I've never had a problem with Hyatt Place. They have always been pretty good. This one however looked old and the hallways and rooms smelled pretty bad. One of the elevators didn't work so we had to take the stairs which was fine, but it was covered in spider webs. Would probably not stay there again unless it was renovated.

Spending nearly 10 days in Baton Rouge and appreciate the amenities and service at the Hyatt Place. Staff are extremely helpful and always cheerful. Breakfasts are varied from day to day and always tasty. Conveniently located off I-10 makes it simple to move around town and head back to the Hyatt Place for a relaxing evening.

My sister and I stayed here for my birthday. I was able to check in early online, and according to the email, it would notify me when the room was ready. Right around 2:00 I called to see if room was available and was told no, that check in was at 3:00. I said that i realize that, but was... More
