This is the worst unclean dirty hotel ever. No assistance from the clerks. I had to literally clean and disinfect the areas myself. Purchased my own bed linen, I to afraid to sleep on the ones on the bed. No other hotels available within my family distance. I will never stay at this dump again.

Great place to stay and complete your projects that you're in-there for. Clean and comfortable environment with exotic plants and fish-tanks in the lobby provides tranquil and a touch-of-class to the property. Welcoming staff and good breakfast an expectation, well met.

Where do I begin? We stayed here for my son’s graduation from USM on May 10th. When we arrived in the evening, my first thought was “ wow, the pictures really made this place look a lot better than it is.” I really didn’t want to stay there, but all the other hotels were booked. When we got to the room, I was disgusted. It was so bad, briefly considered sleeping in my car. The bathroom obviously was not cleaned since the last guests. There was yellow pee on the toilet seat. My daughter went to the front desk to inform them of the situation. To my utter shock, she arrived in the room with a rag, and a bottle of bathroom cleaner in her hands. The front desk handed her that and said no one was available to help. ( see picture #1). I was stunned, but then again, judging from the hotel, I guess I should have expected something like this. So once we cleaned the bathroom, we tried to go to sleep. The general consensus was to just sleep on top of the covers, and try to get through the night, and leave as early as we could the next morning. However, we couldn’t get to sleep. Why?, you may ask. Because the air conditioner was broken. We called to the front desk again, and this time we were handed a fan. A fan that was broken and didn’t work. I seriously cannot make this stuff up. ( see picture #2). A this point, I was pushed over the edge. I demanded they find us another room. It was well after midnight when they finally called and said we could move upstairs to a different room. That room was equally as gross, but at least we had air. The next morning, upon check out, I informed the front desk of what had transpired the night before. The young lady wrote everything down and said she would have the manager contact me. No one ever did. Eventually, after many calls, I was able to speak to the general manager. After verifying my story, She profusely apologized, and said she would refund my stay. She just needed to get the owner’s approval. It has been 2 months and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I am cutting my losses on this one, and realize. Will never get my money back. But at the very least, I can warn other travelers of my experience.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely Dipak Patel

This IInn and Suites, American Best Value Inn and Suites, in Bastrop, Louisiana is the best! I have been a guest numerous times and booked it for guests of my business in Wilmot, Arkansas 71676. Wilmot, Arkansas is a twenty-five minute drive to the Inn In Bastrop, Louisiana. I run a Special Events Venue for weddings, birthday parties, class reunions, family reunions, duck hunting, ect. You get the drift. My guests like the price, but it often varies from other America's Best Value Inn and Suites since it is individually owned, as all of them are. It is not a chain and that often makes a difference in the room price. All guests want to book the ground floor, since it doesn't have an elevator and hasn't ever had one. You have to take your luggage and self up the stairs to your floor. I have never minded the upper floors because when I go, I usually have only a small rolling suitcase. The front desk crew he has working at this time is very helpful and friendly. CLEANLINESS is well above average and I believe they are working on several cosmetic changes. I enjoy a restful night every time I go. Breakfast coffee is excellent Louisiana coffee, and fresh fruit. Check it out if you are working shut down in Crossett, Arkansas, and their hotels are full. I do not know the owners or the staff but do use the Inn when my business of duck hunting needs additional lodging and under this name, this hotel has made many improvements.
