It's a little ramshackle, but the hospitality is warm and welcoming. Rather than the sterile, cookie cutter hotel we went for the unique atmosphere of a B&B for our little jaunt to Lexington. We stayed in the Admiral Room which is right off the entry and near the common rooms which was convenient for us. We didn't use the jacuzzi, but... More

My husband and I were celebrating his birthday with a trip to Lexington for an Eagles concert. As a surprise I decided to book a B&B. I chose Montgomery Inn because all rooms offered a Jacuzzi /jetted tub and went with the Tuscan Suite. The room was ‘cute’ but sloppy and worn. The accents faded, pillows flat, ceramic tiles loose... The staff was very friendly and helpful! Super sweet owners. The breakfast was also good. Rented the French suite. Had nice atmosphere, very clean, and awesome jacuzzi tub and dual headed shower! In room microwave and fridge. Super private and nice porch with private entrance. Privacy was important and this place went above and beyond. First b&b experience and will... More

This was our second BB we have visited. This entire trip was bizarre from the phone call to check in early because she had plans in the evening. So, we indeed came to check in after leaving a Bourbon tour and guess what outr room wasn't ready. The Admiral room is right to the Left when you walk in. It... More

I made a reservation for a room called "The Colonial Suite". I called to confirm that the room has a Jacuzzi. It was for my husband’s birthday so I was planning for a romantic weekend with wine and Jacuzzi. When we arrived, we were told that the cleaning lady did not show up (Not really our problem) so the manager/owner... More

This B&B was recommended by another B&B when we were planning a weekend trip in the Lexington area. All other B&B’s were full, and we did not have time to research this establishment. What a mistake!! The place was over priced for the quality, and lacked the service you normally expect in a B&B. The ambiance was not particularly charming... More

Of course, that's hardly unusual. Websites and marketing materials generally promise more than what's delivered. This places bills itself as "Quirky and Charming." Actually, it's long on quirkiness and a little short on the charming. From the carpark, you are constrained to drag yourselves and your luggage through the kitchen to the ground floor bedrooms and the stairway to those... More

My husband and I stayed at the Montgomery Inn with another couple in late March, 2014. This was our first experience with a B&B and were quite excited to try it. We visited early in the season, so upon arrival we noticed that the inn was due for some spring cleaning but nothing that turned us off to the place.... More

My wife and I have visited Montgomery Inn several times over the past few years and have always been received wonderfully. The rooms have always been clean and the meals are delicious. We always enjoy our chats with Pam and she has become a good friend.

My husband and I stayed at Montgomery Inn 8/16/14 for one night. We were somewhat late arrivals as we had been out on the bourbon trail all day and enjoying our drive through beautiful Kentucky. We looked up B&Bs in the Versailles area and Montgomery Inn popped up with reasonable prices. As we drove up, Pam, the owner, was setting... More
