It looks like this place has just recently been renovated. The person who waited on us behind the desk was so sweet. Also, this is pet friendly which is a plus for us. Only $10 more for our dog. And, walking distance to Panera bread, Cattlemens restaurant, Kroger food store, and a liquor store. Other than my husband’s yak nose, the room was dark, clean and quiet. I’d visit again.
I've been staying at all of the hotels in town and this one by far is the cleanest. Considering we are dealing with this pandemic currentlyscrape by on their cleanliness but not Super 8. They obviously are taking this pandemic seriously and doing all they can to ensure cleanliness. I could finally relax and get a good night's sleep
The lady at the front desk during my late afternoon checkin was the most polite, professional rep I ever encountered. She treated my with honor and respect being a Military Veteran. Thank you! This hotel treats Military and Veterans better than any place I have ever stayed.
Nails sticking out, punctured young child in armrest of chair and then we saw how destroyed they were. 4" centipede running up wall. Both bed's sheets had reddish brown staining on them, including 1 blanket. Light flashed like a strobe light. Bathroom smells of urine and moldy. Carpets have probably never been cleaned. Found a can of chewing tobacco next to bed. Door can be opened without a keycard and when you close it, had to physically push the door to latch it closed or it would remain open. Strong cigarette smell, but it's non-smoking - doesn't use ionizer like other places to remove smell. Walls are stained. Refused a refund even after not being able to find a room that wasn't disgusting. Husband recommended we sleep in our sweaters and shoes to avoid getting bit by anything while sleeping or risking touching whatever caused the stains in the beds. Took pictures of everything!…
As I was checking in, I wanted to give this hotel a good rating. The check in people were both very down to earth and very helpful. Sleep quality was fairly good and my room was fairly clean. It was all fine until I had to deal with the morning staff who are anything down to earth. The cleaning people were VERY discourteous/inconsiderate and the old lady working at the front desk was very despicable. I was already in the process of checking out and received a phone call fifteen minutes shy of check out. Then, as I am checking out, I have to deal with the lady who I knew was going to be an issue. She decided to offend me by cracking out sarcasm which is what people of her kind like to do, and it was already check out time anyways. I'd normally give a hotel of this kind a rating of negative zero which is well deserved; but, because the night staff was cool, I hold no ill will towards them. The quality of the Wyndham brand has gone downhill over the years, and I've found that morning staffs of these places are downright rude.…
