My boyfriend and I decided to stay here while visiting my family during the holidays. It’s conveniently located close to town. Staff is so warming and welcoming and the hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. Decorated for Christmas!!! Has a nice pool also for those that likes to swim. Very good continental breakfast. Has a little of something for the whole family.
I was traveling to Kentucky on church business and thought it would be a good place to stay but I was disappointed. Room was not a quality inn style. Smokers were standing on the balcony and in breezeway smoking, no microwave to heat up oatmeal, steps were deteriorating and the pool was green with algae.
This was our first time staying here on our way through on our road trip. Over all the hotel was pretty good but I am assuming they are under renovation. It looked like half the hotel rooms were closed. Even though our room was clean there was a long term on going issue with our air conditioning unit. It worked well but it had obviously been dripping a considerable amount of water on the carpet for a long period of time. It was very wet and had a mold/musty smell to it. We woke up with very stuffy noses and didn't have a very good night sleep. That being said overall the hotel was kept clean, they had a nice breakfast and the night shift person on July 27th was very nice and helpful, I wish I had of remembered to write down the person's name. We were only staying the one night or would have made a bigger deal about the carpet.…
My family & I have stayed here before that’s why we chose to stay here again. We won’t be staying here any more. This hotel used to be nice now it has cockroaches. We showed the staff @ the front desk the proof of the roaches & he called his manager & all he would do is move us to another room. It’s disgusting when your sitting in your room trying to eat & there are roaches coming out getting on your plates of food. And the manager did nothing! All the did was switch us to another room! I’m excuse me, no! We should have been reimbursed our money at the very least. Do not stay at this hotel, take this as your warning! Stay some where else!
Check in was smooth. Staff was attentive. There were repair issues in the room, for example, the shower curtain could not be closed because the rod was not installed properly. Some other issues were present and were reported but will take time to address. But the bedding was clean and comfortable and the AC worked well. The towels while clean were grayish. Breakfast food served buffet style was OK. The on site restaurant served country style food which was tasty and the staff was friendly and prompt. Parking is free and ample. there is an outdoor pool and a central fitness center but we used neither amenity. WiFI worked well for the very short time it was used, but it was not secure. While there is room for improvement we may stay here again if business brings us to the area.…
