They won’t give you the current room rate if you book too far out at higher rate. Lobby elevator, lobby bathroom, very dirty. Breakfast food is terrible premade nasty. Beds are old and very uncomfortable.
They were very friendly and helped out anyway they could. If I ever go back to that area that will be the place I stay! They made you feel welcome! The rooms were very clean, and they made sure you had enough towels and wash clothes.
Very nice Hampton Inn in downtown Pikeville. Numerous restaurants within walking distance. Can park on street or in a garage next door. Hotel was clean and front desk personnel were friendly. Will stay here again if I come back to Pikeville.
This is a large facility with attractive exterior in downtown Pikeville. It is connected to a Hilton Garden Inn which has a restaurant and we ordered takeout from there which was very good. The room was large and comfortable. Free Parking is in an adjacent parking garage and the Visitors Center is on the first floor of hotel. An attendant was at the breakfast table and she fixed a plate of sausage, Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. There was also a limited choice of yogurt and cereal. You were allowed to eat at tables in that area. Overall a good stay.
I've stayed here twice and this hotel is what a Hampton Inn is supposed to be. Clean, quiet, nicely updated and very hospitable. The gift shop is quaint and there is a convenient restaurant/bar attached via a hallway to the Hilton Garden Hotel. Decent, clean, nice, quiet, and convenient walking distance to the shops and other restaurants downtown.
