I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Country Charm and our hosts David and Lavonna and their delightful grandchildren. We visited there almost 6 months ago, and we are still telling our friends about it. Our room was warm and comfy, with books and antiques to browse through, LaVonna's breakfast was delicious, the conversation warm and friendly,...

We have stayed at Country Charm three times and are set to return in another week. This is a beautiful historical home. We love the serenity here. The beds are some of the most comfortable we have experienced in any B&B. David and LaVonna are wonderful hosts and always make us feel at home. The breakfasts are large and very...

This B&B is located in a rural area has two important things going for it: comfortable rooms and economical rates. Paris (a cute historic town) is five miles down the road and Lexington is about a 15 minute drive (if traffic were perfect, which it isn’t). We stayed for four nights in both the Queen Room and King Room. This...

The floor slickness in the Queen Room was temporary and due to the wrong kind of cleaner having been inadvertently sprayed in one section. The King Room bath may be small in a relative sense, but it is not "tiny." This bathroom features standard-sized shower tub, sink, and commode with shelving for clean, folded towels, washrags, mirror, hair dryer, and...

We stayed with David and LaVonna at their beautiful B & B for 3 nights and it was just wonderful. The food was great, the home was cozy and the hosts/owners were so nice and friendly. The historic farm house is beautifully appointed and very charming, the farm and scenery are absolutely beautiful. We just had a very relaxing and...

David and LaVonna were the best host and hostess! Not only did they welcomed me as soon as I pulled up. I felt like I was part of there family instantly. Their home was warm and loving and the food, goodness! Amazing! It was truly a great experience being there and getting to know them. The home is located in...

Our small group spent 2 nights here. Experience was nice. David and LaVonna are great people, great hospitality, super breakfast and overall very good place to stay. Queen beds could be upgraded were are only negatives. Highly recommend for a true Bed and Breakfast stay.

In the thirteen years we've own and operated Country Charm, this is the only criticism of one of our beds we remember receiving. We checked and found that it did indeed have a creaking sound. When we removed the box springs and mattress, we discovered that someone had put a lot of weight on the edge, bending and warping the...

Wonderful location. Nicest people. Great breakfast. Quiet and restful. Visiting for a family event and what a pleasant surprise. Early August and my how green the country side is. Easy access, near major hwy. and very quite and peaceful. Breakfast fruit starter, followed by egg fluff and great biscuits

The countryside surroundings were quiet and well maintained as was the bed and breakfast. The owners were delightful people, completely non-intrusive but very helpful. They gave us a good recommendation for dinner at Gray's Restaurant in Paris, KY. then served us a delicious breakfast in the morning.

I spent a week at this charming bed & breakfast & had a wonderfully relaxing time. David & LaVonna were very good hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Since I live in a busy city, the peace & quiet were fantastic & much appreciated. At night there were fireflies & one morning I saw a fox running across the front...

I visited the Paris area for a couple of days in November 2014 and stayed at Country Charm. David and LaVonna were a nice couple and made me feel welcome, and their grandchildren were adorable. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and it had a private bath. Breakfast was tasty and hearty. The price was very reasonable. However, there was...

We have the dining area and living room as common areas. The large dining table has been used numerous times by guests to play cards or just to sit around and chat. We (hosts) use the living room, but it is available for guests and includes a large-screen TV with Dish satellite reception. The free WiFi may be unavailable on...
