Loves this hotel! Great views, walking distance to so many great places. My daughter and I had a girls trip here. Walked to Newport Aquarium, shops in that area and then walked to Hofbrauhaus that she just loved!!! Live music and great food…and we walked back to the hotel to swim. Water was a little cold but we got used to it and had fun. Will be back!!!
This hotel is very clean and fresh. Daily room cleaning is available at request due to COVID. We opted to get fresh towels from the front desk and it was fine. I failed to get the woman’s name (likely a manager) who seemed to be on call 24/7 at the front check-in desk. She was exceptionally friendly and accommodating and truly wanted our stay to be enjoyable. In addition, we encountered our floor room attendant and he was courteous and greeted us with a smile and also seemed to enjoy his job. The staff here are an added bonus to a comfy hotel in a great location for a variety of off-site activities.
The front desk people during the day are not accommodating or helpful. I really needed to do a late check out bc I was here for a Meeting until 1pm in their conference room. I have medicine to be kept in fridge and they refused to extend my check out time. They act like I was an inconvenience and were rude.
We had a wonderful stay here! I loved the convenience of the hotel. It was next to the bridge to be able to walk to Cincinnati and it was next to the Newport Aquarium. They had a great selection of a hot breakfast that was included with the stay. I also enjoyed the newness and cleanliness of the hotel. And of course the view of Cincinnati wasn’t bad either!
Stayed here for a couple of nights. It is what one would expect from this chain, nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The best part is the location. Everything in Newport is a short walk and if you want to walk to Cincinnati the Purple People Bridge is nearby and its a great walk to make. The hotel is all about location. Would stay here again.
Very Nice Property and well located to Cincinnati, OH. I was upgraded to a suite based on my status as a Diamond Member which was fabulous. When I am in the area again I will definately stay at this location!
Nice facility, friendly and well kept. Short walk to Cincinnati baseball, football and hockey facilities. Lots of choice for restaurants. Also has EV charge stations which I made use of during my stay.
Came from out of town for the Bengals - Dolphins game - book early. Room had a great view of the stadium and for the Reds. Large room, very spacious. Bathroom had a separate shower/toilet which is really good for multiple guests. Room was clean and quiet, AC worked great. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. Really easy access to highway and downtown Cincinnati. Beds were comfortable and so was the couch bed. Staff was friendly.
When I checked in, I was told my e-check in room was given to someone else. Management has a posted policy that in the interest of "fairness and high demand", HH status is irrelevant when it comes to specific rooms and e-check in. The purpose of being a Hilton Honors member is the advantage of certain privileges/rewards for our loyalty. However, management's posted policy essentially renders this useless. What is the point of loyalty if management ignores it? I stay in the area numerous nights over numerous trips a year and will now use one of the many other Hilton properties in the area instead (which have NEVER posted a policy like this).
No one was at the desk to check several of us in. Finally, about 10 minutes later a young man showed up. We said we’d been waiting a while and he asked if we “could read the sign” he put on the desk. We hadn’t seen it, but it said “be back in 5 minutes”. Unfortunately, it lead to a verbal altercation. He told us it was “his hotel from 3 to 11 and he didn’t have to rent to us”. Frankly, instead of asking us if we could read (with attitude), a simple “I’m sorry I took longer than expected, how may I assist you now” would have been better. We regret that it became a vulgar shouting match in front of so many guests. Neither of us apologized. And he proceeded to check us in. This hotel is a fantastic location for going to see the Reds play. Many, many people just walked across the bridge. The rooms with a view are worth the extra $. Seeing the city and stadium lit up was beautiful. Breakfast was good. And best part was it was open to 10 am!…
