Ate here for lunch, well priced meals with an assortment for all tastes. Lovely aspect, comfy seats, country service but meals served promptly. There is also a restaurant here too, but meals are a little more pricey.

I booked this place because they were doing Christmas dinner and I was very impressed with what I got served. More about that later. I booked a single room which was tastefully furnished, had a TV and an ensuite. Everything was very comfortable with one exception. Christmas Day was very warm and my room faced west. I got quite hot...

A quite small bar, 1930 style but clean and comfortable with a warm fire. Staff were friendly and chatty. My Parmigiana was good and my wife's lamb shank was excellent and the prices were reasonable. There were quite a few others, probably hotel guests, who were taking advantage of the casual atmosphere. The refurbished lounge and restaurant looked really nice...

I'm glad I didn't see the massive cobwebs on the window, which looked out on a roof, until morning. Shiver.... Breakfast was toast or box cereal. Tiny tea cups. Toughest porterhouse steak I've ever had in the lounge restaurant but on the bright side the best lamb shank my husband says he's ever had.

Stayed here for three nights during our travels around the Huon Valley. Although initially somewhat put off by the hotels appearance from the road ( a large block of unattractive dark brick building right on the busy road) once inside the old woodwork and antique furniture conveyed a warm and welcoming effect. This is a restored old style country hotel...

We just dropped in for quick cider and were greeted by the friendly bar staff. What a great location and amazing views across the water. Really glad we stopped here be it only a short stop. It will certainly be on our list if we are coming past again.

The hosts where we were staying highly recommended the Kermandie Hotel Restaurant and we were so pleased we followed up their suggestion. Without doubt the most delicious meal that we had on our holiday. The chef showcases local produce, and offers a menu that caters for all tastes. I indulged in the specials of the day - slow cooked beef...

We dined here tonight. What a fantastic meal! Great service, great food and a beautiful pub! We chose the Hotel, not the restaurant, to dine in.......same chef, same kitchen and outstanding food! There was a terrific selection available. A warm cosy fire, a great wine choice and fantastic food. What more can anyone ask for?
