Club Calimera Serra Palace has garnered positive attention for maintaining high cleanliness standards and providing attentive service, despite occasional lapses in room servicing and check-in efficiency. While the rooms elicit mixed reviews, ranging from spacious and well-appointed to needing a refresh, many guests are pleased with the amenities, including multiple pools and diverse dining options. However, issues with Wi-Fi and limited seating have been noted. The hotel's value proposition is generally well-received, offering affordability despite some deemed pricey add-ons, and the vibrant nightly entertainment adds to the dynamic atmosphere, although the adult programming sometimes falls short.

I spent a total of 10 days with two friends in the hotel and in retrospect it was a very nice stay with many great memories. 🌴
The overall facility is relatively large, but you can find your way around very quickly. It is well cared for, also very green and planted with many beautiful plants that are maintained by gardeners. Our room with a wonderful sea view was cleaned very well.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the food.
A diverse, varied and healthy selection was offered in the morning, at noon and in the evening. There was also a wide selection of desserts, including many tasty cakes. (But we thought it was a shame that there were so many guests who left a lot of food on their tables.)
If you didn't want to change your clothes at lunchtime, you could eat at the beach buffet without any problems. There were also nicely looking dining tables with a view of the sea especially reserved for families.
There was also the option of booking one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants (Turkish, Italian or seafood) once a week. We are very satisfied with the visit to the Turkish and Italian ones. (But we believe that a little too much food was served in the Turkish restaurant.)

The Turkish and English speaking staff was very competent and experienced. If you were looking for something, the staff did not just point a finger, but also led to it. Things were quickly cleaned away and guests were not refused any wishes. Staff were very friendly and always responded immediately without misunderstandings. I would like to send greetings to Ayşe Saritaş, who performed very professionally.

There are guests from many different countries, such as Turkey, Russia, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Norway, Sweden and Bulgaria. This opens up the possibility of making awesome new acquaintances.

A lot of bathing fun is guaranteed in any case. The large pool areas and the beach are very clean, quiet, provided with sun protection and not overcrowded. If you want it to be extra quiet, i can recommend the Relaxed Pool.
Those who want to be active are offered a lot of possibilities: There is a swimming pool with lanes for training, water polo, football, tennis, mini golf, table tennis, beach volleyball, darts, boccia, zumba, basketball, shuffleboard…
You also have free access to an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym.

The entertainers were always in a good mood and could communicate with guests in Turkish, German, English, French or Russian. We would like to highlight Sam, Okan, Eva and especially Tomas, who also gave us Turkish lessons.

The facility is also very secure, we met friendly security guards on a night walk.
But we thought it was a shame that our suitcases were in the lobby on the day of departure and there was no extra locked room for them.

Thank you very much, we'd love to come back soon. 👋

The Hotel is immaculate, staff are always cleaning. Rooms are big, showers are powerful and always hot water no matter what time of day or night, mini fridge with beer soft drinks and water, bottled water replenished every day.
Indoor pool was great for morning swim and play as mornings were a little cool and then when the sun came out the splash park and water slides were great and my Grandson played on them all day and had fun with the life guards. Quieter pools for swimming and relaxing too.
Hotel is directly on the beach, lots of sunbeds and the beach bar and restaurant was an added bonus with a play park on the beach too.
Food at the buffet restaurant was delicious, lots of choice and selection for children too. The staff were friendly and efficient in all areas of the hotel and good fun too.
Turkish a la carte was outstanding, as I was only there for 1 week I did not get the opportunity to eat at the Italian restaurant.
Lots of bars around the hotel for drinks, ice cream at the pool bar every afternoon and afternoon tea each day.
Spa looked great and was always busy however as I was on holiday with my Grandson I didn’t get time to try it out.
The Hotel is a little out of the way which is ideal for an all inclusive stay however if you want to get out and about the hotel does do transport into nearby town and Side.
We had an amazing stay and would recommend for families and would love to return.

Arrived at 2:30am after a 1 hour transfer. There was food available at the 24 hour restaurant which was a positive with getting their late with 2 small children. I’ll start with the negative - We was in a room in the main building above the 24 hour bar, which was a nice room with wifi which I know not everyone had in their rooms. however over the next few nights we had to deal with drunken very loud holiday makers waking up our children and stopping us from sleeping so we went down and told them to be quiet ourselves as staff wasn’t concerned at all (3:30am) Maybe consider moving the 24 hour bar to the front reception building where it won’t echo up to the rooms above? 2nd negative the restaurant gets extremely busy and made getting food stressful and by the time you got back to your table the food was cold. However plenty of choice. You will always find food in this place whatever hour of the day which is good. We noticed the hotel social media pages are putting pictures of areas of the hotel that are closed down and no longer running which is disappointing and strange. Positives - the hotel is clean the room cleaners are great and the hotel grounds overall are kept nice and clean. 8 pools to choose from with slides for all ages kids + adults, And pools without slides. If you want to be around any of the kids pools you need to get up early for a sunbed. My kids are 4 and 2 and was never bored there’s always something to do. the kids club area has a great park that my kids enjoyed aswell and a park on the beach however be careful slides get burning hot from lunchtime. Slushes available, iced coffee, iced teas, cocktails and beer are good. The dancers are very good that do the night time shows I was really impressed that’s 9:30pm. Popcorn/candy floss stand 4€ each on a night time. Snack bar at 4pm at the theatre area do amazing home baked biscuits/donuts/jacket potatoes/sandwiches/pan au chocolates ect. I recommend getting a taxi in Side old town 25€ each way but absolutely worth it. There isn’t anything worth leaving the hotel for around the area you’re pretty stranded (pharmacy if you need one) but the entertainment at the hotel makes up for it as I say we was never bored of things to do. To keep your room if you have late check out is €20 til 4pm and €40 til 6pm. Just use the showers in the spa for no cost. Transfer back to the airport was 2 hours as had multiple pick ups. Overall we was happy here and had a great time as a family and for the extremely cheap price we paid it was very impressive

This hotel had excellent reviews and 5 star so thought this would be a good place to stay. But very mistaken, arrived 01.00 no food available and stated would be happy to pay. Taken to the room with 3 single beds in wanted a double and a single (not a problem though). No coffee and tea facilities in the room asked at reception said we would have to wait until the morning. TV all German no English at all, no WiFi in room only in reception and around the pool. The safe was chargeable per day, the fridge was not working so bottled water warm. Went to reception next day to complain moved to a slightly better room still no WiFi there to. Food in the main restaurant appalling same food all the time and very basic. We were flying out on a late flight so asked at reception if we could book the room for a few extra hours extra again happy to pay said no your room is already available to you until 7pm. Had a phone call whilst having lunch and reception asking for us to leave the room immediately and our room key was blocked. Very rude receptionist said if we do not remove our things now someone else will do it for us. This stay has now deterred me from staying not just in this hotel but Turkey very disappointed.

First time to Turkey ,first time with easyJet ,after a 3 hour delay at Manchester airport trying to get through customers we finally managed to get to our flight with easyJet.planes are a bit tight but staff are very helpful,we arrived a Serra palace on the 9th of April 2022 to be greeted by one of the nicest receptionist you can ever meet ,I can’t pronounce his name but it was something like joku ,we told him our daughter and grand children would be arriving later and he offered to move us closer together ,but we stayed in the new part of the complex ,we stayed in room 2320 which was really nice and comfortable,my daughter stayed in the building opposite room 1625 which could do with an update.food was amazing plenty to choose from ,lunch was always at the beech for us because they did the most amazing beef burgers.the staff work really hard to keep this place spotless, they do an amazing job .the animation team where very friendly and as time went on we had a good laugh with them . The hotel was full of German family’s which we got on really well with they are really friendly and most speak really good English.the pools for the time of year were really cold but that didn’t stop us going in,my wife and I have travelled around the world and have got to say this hotel is right up there for quality,I would recommend this hotel to anyone my family had the most amazing time and would definitely go back ,thank you Serra palace we hope to see you again

We visited on the opening day for 9 days. It was quiet and not much if the buffet was open but as more people arrived there was a lot more choice. I'd say the food was nothing to write home about.
The snack bar wasn't the best but again there wasn't much open.
There was a woman making gozleme which took a while so not sure how that works when it's high season.
For some reason there's literally food available all night and most of the day but between 14.30 and 18.30 there's nothing but biscuits. Maybe this is different in high season but I feel maybe to alternate lunch and the snack bar so there's something during those hours. Still though we found there was always something.
The hotel itself is lovely and has all new carpets and sofas throughout and we couldn't fault it. The entertainment at night was good in general.
There were mainly Germans there but we don't mind that it's not full of English.
Avoid the hotel shop. There is a migros about 5-10 min walk away which is about 80p for a big bag of crisps as opposed to £2.50 in the hotel shop.
It's a bit out of the way but you can get two buses to side for a couple of euro or a taxi is £25 but you can say £20 and they will accept.
Alanya is 45 minutes away but it's 1 bus so a lot easier. Again both places are a lot cheaper than the hotel shops. The hotel does a trip to side twice a week but I think it's €10 per person.
It wasn't too busy and it's a huge hotel so no problems getting a sun bed although this is probably different in high season.
We loved this holiday and we would probably go back here but for the desolate location.
Rooms are nice and have free air con
A hair dryer
A TV with lots of German channels and like 2 English (the news)
They are cleaned daily and your free mini bar is filled with beer and soft drinks at the start and then just water after that.
All inclusive drinks are available 24 hours
There's shampoo conditioner etc but they don't refill those.
Literally only issue with the hotel is the location but then again it's got everything you need if you don't leave the hotel at all.
Oh they charge 5 euro for a tiny popcorn at the kids club so avoid that. 1 euro for a huge bag at the migros.
The pools are freezing but then again it's march. They are doing building works on the water park but the splash park was open and some other slides on the complex.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your 9-day stay at Calimera Serra Palace, especially since it was during our opening day. We value your insights as they help us improve and adapt our services to meet our guests' expectations better. We understand that the initial limited buffet options and snack bar offerings were a concern, but we're glad to hear that as our guest numbers increased, so did our variety. Your comments regarding the food and the availability of dining options during certain hours have been noted, and we are looking into ways to enhance our food services, especially during the off-peak hours you mentioned. We're pleased to learn that despite these issues, you found the hotel's amenities, including the newly installed carpets and sofas, to your liking. The positive mention of our nightly entertainment and the overall hotel cleanliness is much appreciated. We acknowledge the hotel's location might not be ideal for everyone, and we're grateful for your suggestions regarding transportation and the proximity to local shops, which offer more economical options compared to the hotel shop. This is valuable advice for our future guests, and we will consider how we can better communicate travel and shopping options to enhance our guests' experience. It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the room amenities, including the daily cleaning service and the initially stocked minibar. Your feedback on the pool temperatures, ongoing construction, and the pricing at the kids club will be taken into account as we continuously strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable environment for all our guests. Despite the location, we're thrilled that you loved your holiday with us and are considering a return. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back and aim to surpass your previous experience. Best regards, Management of Calimera Serra Palace

Travelled to the Calimera Serra Palace with my husband and 15yr old son. We stayed in room by 2419 as we paid for a sea view. The hotel is made up of 2 main buildings and small annexes. The only sea views are in the main building but most of the other rooms had garden views. The hotel has free Wi-Fi throughout but it doesn’t reach the bedrooms which wasn’t a problem for my son. Our room was large with plenty of storage space. They are cleaned every day and towels changed every day. The hotel provide you with towel cards for the sun beds so you don’t need to take your own towel.
The food was excellent at both the beach bar and the main restaurant. You can also visit one of the al la carte restaurants once per 7 day stay. The staff are extremely helpful. The hotel have a spa and hairdressers who do tout for business but it’s not a problem. The hotel also has 8 clay tennis courts! If you play tennis take your racquet. The hotel have a shuttle bus which goes to Manavgat and Side a couple of times a week for 7 euro return each. We got a taxi as wanted to go on different days. Manavgat was 35 euro return, a visit for clothes shopping. Side was 50 euro return. A lovely historic town and we’ll worth a visit. There are also some shops near the hotel that sell clothes and trinkets. All in all a fabulous hotel and we would definitely return.

All your staff are excellent, bars have a lot on offer and the food choice is very broad most days which is great!
The rooms are good, definitely no complaints staying in them for 10 days, no WiFi in the rooms meant I had to socialize with my partner sadly though.
Having a bar open 24 hours is great, and having lobby areas open at all times was useful so u could watch a sporting event at 2am!
Only real complaint is the pool temperature, we’ll be coming back so some sort of pool heating system would be great as sometimes it’s just too cold to get in!
The shops in the hotel were a nice surprise too and made the whole grounds seem like a village with all the different shops and buildings!
Having a taxi stop outside is useful if you don’t want to use the bus though the local bus stops are good too and a very cheap option.
My partner and I will definitely consider Club Calimera Serra Palace for a future holiday as we were both very pleasantly surprised with how great the resort really is, especially considering we came for a budget holiday, it feels like this won’t be a budget resort for long!
The restaurants are good, the Italian restaurant is exceptional, we absolutely the five courses, would absolutely pay for that! The Ottoman restaurant was okay, wasn’t really to my taste but can’t really fault the restaurant for that!
Our room was on the top floor of the first building facing inland and it was nice having a view of Kizilot and the surrounding area during day and night, the balcony is a very pleasant place to be at all times!
The air conditioning in the room was great too, at night you’ll want to ensure you don’t have it on lowest as it genuinely gets cold, but great to have it after a long day in the sun!
The night time entertainment is great and varied and the team clearly put a lot of effort in to making it fun!
The beach bar was one of the best things about the hotel, as they served up a proper good lunch with burgers, chips, onion rings, pide, flatbread, and desserts, as well as another bar! There’s a lot of seating and a private section of beach from the hotel with a private beautiful walkway to the beach!
We check out tomorrow, but absolutely can’t wait to come back!

The rooms were spacious, clean and air con was fine but the balcony was tiny and boarded with wood to about 4ft so only good for drying clothes. Although the bathroom was nicely done, it's not for me not having no bathroom door and just having panels to seperate shower, toilet and rest of the room as there is no privacy. Lights in the corridors were never on so very very dark at all times which isnt ideal with eldery people and 2 small children. Main issue we had was distance, our party included a disabled guest, a 7 year old and 1 year and you had to walk nearly 10mins to get to restaurant and another 5 mins to get to pools, we ended up having to take everything for the day with us to breakfast and have to use 2 lifts in the process. Other problem was it was packed at meal times. By the time you queue for food (although other guests mostly foreign so they just pushed in) and got back to the table (3/4 mins walk) your food was cold so we stuck mainly to salad sections as couldn't be bothered to wait in longer queues although there was plenty of choice and it did look nice. Beware if any dietary requirementsas not much labeled and we struggled as not much dairy free. Although plenty of bars around you also always had a wait for drinks.
The pools were great, and always sunbeds available, always snacks bar with chips, toasties, salad available. Mini disco was good, but most songs in German although this didnt bother my daughter and we didnt stop for evening entertainment, again very busy and a fight for seats. Went with the view to use kids club but was a bit put off when most things cost so on the first day it was t shirt painting 15 euro or you couldn't join club followed by watch painting and banana boat rides. All great don't mind paying but need to factor in budget up to 40euro a day. Staff were generally pleasant and all areas were always clean and tidy. We had 2 rooms, 1 got a full mini bar stock up after a week and other got nothing. We paid 25 euro on last day to keep 1 room till 4pm but there was a shower in the spa to use if not. Beach is just stones and has a steep drop but nice enough, a few shops around a 10/15min walk away. Overall had a nice holiday but would definitely not return

We stayed here for 10 nights in August 2023 as a family of 7 (4 adults and 3 children across 2 rooms). The first rooms that we were allocated were in the main front building and they were incredibly small with uncomfortable beds, lacked natural light, no bathroom door and were miles from the main facilities. You couldn’t just pop back to your room if you forgot something. Seemingly these are the sea view rooms that Jet2 pay for. The sea view is way in the distance with your immediate view obstructed by the staff car park and waste land.

We complained and were ‘downgraded’ and allocated beautiful rooms (1217 and 1218) which were spacious, light and more importantly, really close to the pools, slides, entertainment and eateries.

The pools were lovely. The approx depth all round was 140cm. Our kids (5, 6 and 9) loved the slides and water park which were open for around 5 hours each day. The water park is aimed at kids under 12 approx. If you want a sun lounger along a pool side, you’ll need to reserve one around 6am. The tiles around the pools get really slippy.

There are no attendants clearing up uneaten food and or empty cups from around the pools. Whilst the tourists can of course clean up after themselves, most didn’t and the place looked messy by the afternoon.

One thing that I really struggled with was the use of single use plastic throughout. Thousands of plastic straws and cups were used and discarded every day. We didn’t see any recycling facilities.

The evening entertainment was pretty poor other than the Friday night garden party (DJ, disco and foam party) and the occasional live band.

Our kids enjoyed the kids club. The staff were friendly and we felt that our kids were safe in their hands. The activities seemed varied. Our 9 year old felt that it was too babyish for him.

The food quality wasn’t the best but there was plenty of choice. This hotel caters for many different nationalities and so it’s to be expected that not everything will suit the British pallet. There are plenty of places throughout the day to eat and drink. The All Inc drinks were great (local beer Tuborg, local wines, cocktails, soft drinks). Table service for drinks was hit and miss.

There are some shops approx 10 min walk from the hotel selling fake bags, football strips etc. Those are definitely worth a visit.

Room service came daily to make our beds, change towels etc.
