We have stayed here two times, July 2016, and May 2017 for weekend getaways. The owners Steve and Devonna are fantastic. They will go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. The breakfast is out of this world. More food than you can eat. We have stayed in the Elizabeth Chamber and The Travelers Room....

My husband and I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast during an extended road trip down south and thru several mid-western states. We were tired when we arrived and it is always a pleasure to meet gracious and enthusiastic Innkeepers like Steve and Devona. We felt very much at home right away. The room we selected was the President's Chamber....

Lovely place to stay while visiting Louisville. The owners were very friendly and prepared a lovely breakfast. While off the beaten path of downtown Louisville, no worries - many restaurants close by. Loved the peace and quiet of our room, walked the beautiful grounds and if it was a bit warmer would have been in the pool.

1840 Tucker House is a gorgeous historic home located just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Louisville that is expertly preserved. The innkeepers, Steve and Devonna, at Tucker House were easy to communicate with in advance, accommodating with our needs and extremely welcoming. Stepping into Tucker House is like stepping back in time, except more comfortable. The walls are...

I had a last minute family funeral and looked for a place online. I called and Steve was more than accommodating. I arrived and was greeted warmly and with all kinds of goodies and cookies. The room was large and had every amenity. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were great! I can not tell you how amazing...

Our first time at a bed and breakfast and the experience was wonderful. The pictures don't do justice of how beautiful, clean, and relaxing this place is. The owners were very welcoming and kind. The breakfast was amazing!! We had everything we could need. We will definitely return!

We recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Louisville. It is located on a large wooded lot conveniently 15 minutes east of Louisville. Our room had everything we needed including robes. The breakfasts were excellent with a different presentation each day. The B&B is early American. There were snacks and drinks available. Devona's restaurant recommendations for 3 dinners were all outstanding....

My sisters and I chose 1840 Tucker House for our mother's 80th surprise birthday party after touring the house and meeting the lovely and warm innkeepers, Devona and Steve Porter, and couldn't have been more pleased. They took care of our every need and both the food and accommodations were perfect. We enjoyed catered appetizers and homemade cakes prepared and...
