Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel staff was very accommodating. I am under the impression that the desk staff is students from the college as I never saw someone over the age of 20-22 working behind the desk. Either way, they were doing an excellent job. Upon check-in I was informed that the hotel had been purchased by the hospital and they were unclear if it would remain a hotel and offered the name of a nearby hotel if I should ever need to stay in that location again. I was very appreciative of this information due to the fact that I will be coming back and needing to stay in this location. Our room was on the 3rd floor and a few doors down from the elevator. The room was very large and was very clean. Absolutely no noise the first night. Second day I had to get my key reprogrammed and that was absolutely no trouble and staff was more than willing. Upon entering our room the second day, it did have a bit of a stale smell to it, but nothing that was bothersome. There was a bit of noise that night but it was only a small child that was in a nearby room and most likely getting ready for bed. The only complaint about the room was that it was accessible on either side by the other room. I suppose this would be great if you had a large family or 2 families staying together, but It was a bit unnerving when the family next door was opening theirs and trying to see if mine was accessible, however I do think it was a child doing this and not the adult. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was canned fruit in a dish, yogurt, muffins, toast, and cereal. Coffee, water, milk and juice were also available. There was not a big enough selection to hold you over and we left hungry. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Afterall, I had chosen it for location more than anything. My complaints are very minor and most likely knit-picky things. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is very accommodating. I definitely recommend to stay here.

Stayed here on the night of June 20th. Hotel was clean, had been recently updated, had a retro touch to it. Sad that this place is closing in 2 weeks. Do yourself a favor and stay at this place before its too late.

nothing outstanding, just a clean place with decent friendly folks working there. I guess you could say I wish every place was like this, no issues, no problems, just decent. We just slept there, arrived, went to dinner, came back, and left in the morning after a good night's sleep.

Great place so convenient to UK hospital. Clean, private rooms non-smoking with elevator. Decent cold breakfast - hard boiled eggs, cereal, muffins/bagels, yogurt, etc. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

We were in town for a high school function and needed an affordable/clean place to stay. It checked those boxes. The rooms were clean. The staff were helpful. There was enough breakfast to get us going in the morning. It would have been great to have a working gym, but we definitely felt like the value was well worth our stay and hope to come back for the same event next year.

Stayed one night in room 355 b. Very spacious. Furnishing- clean, not too worn but nothing special. It was a king bed kitchenette with microwave, fridge and extra sink. (Never used the kitchenette) The room and bath were clean but no bath soap provided for the tub. I'm sure it was an innocent oversight. Good water pressure. Bed and pillows were firm and comfortable. Happy the pillows were not feather. AC/Heat worked well. Only ONE bed side table. My wife and I had to change our usual sides so I could use my breathing machine. NO outlets one the other side either. Only one outlet around the whole bed. This is a big inconvenience for two of us needing to charge our phones while having them close to use them as alarms. The staff were friendly and responsive. I needed help with a situation and the cleaning lady on the floor was very helpful.

I was there for a night with a family member for a doctor's appointment. It's clean and near Baptist Health Hospital. I would recommend only for that purpose. Definitely not a place to stay if you are vacationing.

The beds are small, hard, and uncomfortable. Frat house around the street! You can hear the traffic of the street and people in the next room. The TV in rooms are too small. Way over priced. Never again!

My stay was pleasant. Very clean hotel and had amenities I needed/wanted. I didn't give five stars because we stayed in the adjacent building and didn't like the walking distance (in the rain) to get coffee/breakfast. Other than that, I will certainly stay there again.
