The location of this B&B is remote. The last few miles are quite a bumpy ride. We arrived to the main house and met Barbara, the innkeeper who's very welcoming and nice. The house is charming with log walls and country style decor. We were guided to our cabin which was fairly new. A large and welcoming sort of place...

hello Chiggers are a thing to be reckoned with in Kentucky this time of year. So very sorry, despite our best efforts they got you. You are right that long pants, shirts and more are important and you missed our detailed warning and instructions. We live in the woods and keep the trails mowed but we still have chiggers, bugs,...

Barbara and her team were amazing. We had a mini family reunion and celebrated my siblings 50th anninversary. We rented the cozy cabin for some of the family and bedrooms at the big house for the rest of the family. The setting is beautiful. One of a kind. Rustic, and beautiful. The wonderful meals were on the screened porch where...

My stay at Snug Hollow was perfect from start to finish. My room was comfortable and cozy and both the dinners and breakfasts were fantastic each day. Dinner on my two nights included fresh salads (picked from the garden earlier in the day), lasagna, eggplant parmesan, wine, peach tea, and the most amazing bread I've ever had. Breakfasts included oatmeal...

I booked Snug Hollow for a quick anniversary get away to turn off the tech and tune it a bit. We stayed in the main house in the Sweetie which was nice. I was nervous of the vegetarian menu but the lasagna dinner was one of my top 5 meals ever in KY and the breakfast was also a big...

We just got back from our second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first! This place is secluded and naturally lovely with tasty, vegetarian breakfasts and dinners if you desire. Owner Barbara Napier makes you very welcome. We'll definitely be back!

I recently stayed at Snug Hollow with my best college friends. The experience was AMAZING! We stayed in the Cozy Cabin and it was well-appointed and comfortable. It's close to the main house, so we could easily hear the bell for breakfast and dinner :) The food is delicious and the service was perfect. Barbara has such a wonderful spirit...

A wonderful two night stay. Barb makes you feel right at home. The food was excellent, trails to explore, just sit on the porch and listen to the birds. We stayed in the main house which was very comfortable,. I highly recommend this B&B.

If you want a rural, quiet, and vegitarian experience, then this is a great place. The Inn is very rustic and tranquil. The birds will wake you in the morning. Lexington will seem very far away! There are several cabins that are good for families or small groups.

A dear friend and I chose Snug Hollow for a place to reconnect after attending a conference in nearby Richmond. The pictures on the website drew us in, but the real thing was even better. Our stay was in mid-March, when spring was just preparing to burst forth. We spent three days in the cabin by the creek and left...

Snug Hollow was quiet, rustic and quaint. The owner, Barb, was wonderful and she made our time there enjoyable. I do have to say the drive back the lane is a bit of an adventure though! It's a long gravel lane that goes up and down some steep hills! From the moment we walked in the smell of the food...
