My Lady and I visit Kentucky State Parks each year for the Valentines Day weekend and we picked Pennyrile this year. We had a small mixup making reservations but I have had trouble at all the parks except Blue Licks in making reservations. Our visit was very nice. The area is a little out of the way but we had...

Had lunch here yesterday with about 15 other friends. We all had the buffet. There was roast beef catfish turkey and dressing Salad bar and all kind of vegetables. The fried catfish was a little dry. The drink came with the meal and it all cost about $15 plus tip.

My family and I booked a camper camp site at this venue for 4 nights - July, 2016. The website is very misleading! The camp sites are all un-level. The power is shared with the site next to you - only one 30AMP and one 50AMP service is available. Water is also shared. Some of the power boxes are too...

We stayed here as part of a summer road trip. I found this place online and booked the cabin. It was a one bedroom cabin with sufficient supplies and amenities. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the stay although the first night we found a very large cricket-like creature in the bathtub that took quite a bit of effort to...

Just got back from a three day stay at the Pennyrile State Forest Lodge in KY. The two bedroom cabin was clean and had everything we needed. A small kitchen, a tv in the bedrooms and living room with free wifi included. Every cabin has a view of the lake,a firepit, a fishing dock and a grill. The cabin also...

We visited during my children's fall break and could not have been more happy with the accommodations and surroundings. The autumn colors were in full force and the hiking trails provided fantastic views of the lake and surrounding foliage. We participated in a photography weekend which was very well organized and attended. The park provided two regional professional photographers to...

I stay here a couple of times a year. The rooms are not fancy, but they are very clean. Some of the mattress's could stand to be updated, but they are ok. The lodge and the grounds are beautiful. The food in the restaurant is delicious. The workers (except for Katie) are so kind. They go above and beyond to...

We were on the 2nd level and didn't have lake view due to a huge tree that needed trimmed. The free continental breakfast was horrible. Cold eggs, no meat, ect... At dinner time, I highly enjoyed the catfish fillets. The pool was great and the beach was very well taken care of. There isn't any refrigerators in the rooms nor...
