TiinGading is nothing like that photo. It has minimal facilities, not clean, and when we asked for a meal, there was nothing but nasi goreng or chicken. The menu was fantasy. They were supposed to arrange car to pick us up from the airport. That didn't happen. We arrived eventually fairly late in the day and checked out the following morning.... We stayed here in July 2014 and really enjoyed our stay. It felt like a real taste of Balinese life and we were made to feel very welcome by the staff here. It was only a few minutes walk from the Tiing Gading to the centre of Ubud but being out of the centre meant it was quiet and peaceful... More

First let me say what this hotel is not. It is not a resort with hundreds of rooms, three swimming pools with swim up bars, 5 restaurants, kids program and free use of the gym equipment. Instead, it is a very welcoming, pleasant small hotel with four double story Balinese style bungalows set in a tropical garden. We stayed there... More

I really like the hospitality of this place. The staff is really helpful, they bring us tea in the afternoon, and mosquito repellent in the evening. Breakfast is great, i like the bali coffee, juice and nasi goreng. The location also great if you want to find a peaceful place. This hotel also have a parking space so if you... More

we picked these bungalows for the traditional looks but were disappointed by the fact that everything is very old and not functional in the room (shower that can't stay hot but stay flooded). The mosquito net and sheet were dirty and everything just looks old and a little dirty. A shame because the bungalows look great and so does the... More

I really debated between giving Tiing Gading Bungalows 2 or 3 stars. Overall, the bungalows have a very secluded, charming feel. The owners and staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating. However, the rooms are in need of a serious cleaning which led me to get sick and leave early. Positives: -Family run (very personalized) - Tea/coffee waiting for you every... More

We stayed for 5 nights in ting gading bungalows in august 2014, the place if about 10 to 15 minutes walk from monkey forest road, its only about few minutes away from the dirty duck diner restaurant! The rooms were clean, but they could have cleaned it a little more, especially the cobwebs, very cosy rooms, towels changed everyday, bathroom... More

A Great place with good food close to Ubuds main area. A very relaxed atmosphere in a lush garden where a small number of bungalows are situated. People are very friendly and willing to help in anyway to support your stay.

Tiing Gading Bungalows is a very comfortable homestays which suits people who are travelling on a budget or are backpackers. The property is surrounded by lush green trees and there is a small pool to relax too. The rooms are clean and comfortable made in typical balinese style. The hospitality is very warm and friendly by Sita. They also arrange... More

The warmth of the staff and the superbly tasty food is what stood out for us. We were 4 backpacking friends, we took 2 air-conditioned rooms. The bungalows are spread out in a large lush green garden area. Clean and quiet. Birds chirping everywhere. It feels like your grandma's ancestral house (if you're South Indian like me that is :D).... More
