The staff were nice. The room in general was clean. The air conditioning unit didn't make the room very cool. The area around the coffee pot hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The vending machine was broken and there wasn't a sign on it. The staff knew it was broken.

Very clean room. I was actually very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The balcony was large. Staff was very friendly, and helpful. We ate the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet. Dinner was good, tons of choices. Breakfast was passable, but not great. We will absolutely come back again. Great stay!!!

I liked the lodge which was very reasonable, especially as I'm a military retiree and the rate for me was very low. The setting is quiet and off the beaten path. The rooms were clean and well furnished, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant served very good meals.

My Husband and I chose the New Year's Eve package.. It was an amazing value, nice hotel room, great buffet for dinner, great show after the buffet, Comedian, he had every one smiling and laughing, then live music to listen or to dance . Then in the morning a delicious breakfast buffet. We enjoyed Blue Lick and the park so...

Stayed for night while visiting family. WOW, what a treasure. Rooms were reasonable, clean and spacious. Only issue is a 32'' TV is, such a big room. The front desk crew was EXTREMELY friendly and willing to serve.

We went to this state park for a company banquet. I have been several times before on pleasure trips and always enjoyed my stay. This trip was no exception with a party of 130 people they accommodated us in a dinner buffet and banquet room with everything in excellent order. I have enjoyed my visit and plan to return again...

We visited on a brisk fall evening. The fried fish was wonderful, yet the buffet also offered roast beef and pork chops. The salad bar was very fresh, with Romaine lettuce, which I prefer over iceberg. They offered many selections on the salad bar. There were two varieties of soups also, and several desserts. If we had arrived earlier the...

We did not know the lodge was there. We had been to the park many years ago before there was lodge. It was a delightful surprise to see the lodge. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The housekeeping staff worked over to clean a room for us. The desk clerk found us in the gift shop...

I'm not quite sure what I was expecting, but this being my first stay at a Kentucky State Park I was really pleased! I spent a night when I was with the National Society for the Preservation of Covered Bridges group. I was in building 3, room 110. The grounds were very well kept. The room itself was spacious and...

I was quite surprised by this stay. Spur of the moment decision & all worked out. Small number of rooms available. The food was good at both the dinner & breakfast buffet (only complaint - not hot, but pretty warm). Service was good in the restaurant & other employees were very friendly. We only did an overnight stay so we...

“Lower level is okay in the summer to feed the duck and see the woods but I prefer the ones on the parking lot level. I like the corner suites. I have never been there when it was loud. Sunday is my favorite time to eat, when all the church people come in they always look so nicely dressed.”
