I stayed one night (6/4/22). The hotel staff member I encountered was friendly, the hotel lobby was clean, the room was very clean, bed was comfy. I would stay here again without hesitation. They also have a Starbucks in the lobby, and while I didn’t grab coffee while there, it was nice to know that I could, if I wanted.
Excellent Service….very polite staff…very clean…The Hotel and Bowling Green were very busy due to WKU Graduation and the Mid South Conference Baseball Tourney in town. The hotel could not have been better. The outside area was nice and clean, the exercise room was modern and clean. Just had a very nice stay.
We were extremely disappointed in our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The hotel appeared clean, however, when I wiped up some water from an ice cube, the tissue was very dirty. There was a lot of noise, both pipes/plumbing and from other guests. The clerk at the check in desk did not appear to be knowledgeable about the area when asking about restaurant recommendations.
My husband and I travel a lot, for both business and pleasure. We are currently on a family road trip with our children and are staying at Marriott properties along our way because we have Ambassador Elite Status with Marriott Bonvoy. We checked into the hotel last night and the check-in was smooth and they got our request for connecting rooms. My daughter and I went into our room and were surprised to find a few “extras” in our room. First of all there was an empty liter bottle of wine left in the bathroom. Then we noticed the coffee maker had not been cleaned properly. We also noticed the bed looked a little off. When I pulled back the covers, it looked like someone had slept in the bed. I know that normally on a holdover reservation they will make the bed, but not change the sheets. However, we were a new check-in. I couldn’t be sure this was the case, but it did seem suspicious. We also noticed there was no tissue anywhere in the room. I informed them at the front desk of the state in our room and asked for a full sheet change when they serviced the room. We went out and when we came back, the room had been serviced. However, this is not where the story ends. When we returned to our room they had not yet serviced my husband’s room. We thought they would get to it later. When we returned again after 6:00 pm the room still had not been serviced. He said something to the front desk clerk and they gave him a line that Marriott policy is not to service a room unless you are staying more than seven days. This is ridiculous and I’ve never heard this before. We stayed for more than two nights at a Residence Inn in South Dakota, they serviced our room daily. This is the second Courtyard I’ve stayed at in the last month where the service and housekeeping has been iffy. Marriott needs to check in on this brand, as we expect a certain level of service from a Courtyard. I don’t think a clean room is too much to ask. I would not stay at this property again and I will think twice before booking a Courtyard.…
Easy access from hotel to restaurants and the interstate. It is just a few miles from Western Kentucky University campus. We had a very nice stay. The remodeled rooms were very nice and the layout was perfect for one person to watch TV in bed and the other one to either sleep or watch TV. The TV was able to be controlled from your smart phone! This is a nice feature. There is a traditional remote control also. The front desk staff was very nice. No alcohol sold due to the 'deli' being closed due to COVID19 precautions so be aware. I will most likely stay here again.
The rooms were beautiful with the exception of some black stuff on the celling. (I pray that it wasn't mold) Rooms had refrigerators however no microwaves.(There is one at the front desk) I believe because of Covid, the small eatery was close. The bed for my taste is extremely firm. Bathrooms in the King room had a stand alone shower(which can be small for plus size individuals) The shower in the double queen was a tub combo
My cross country bicycle journey brought me to this hotel. The location was near many stores and places to eat. Super nice person checked me, and I was in my clean, cozy and modern room. It was a Sunday afternoon so it was a little extra quiet which was nice. The front desk personal were helpful with any questions I had. After a super quiet and comfortable night, I was pedaling away the next morning, very well rested !! 5 thumbs up !! TheBigRideforEB.com
This was a nice hotel with clean rooms… The staff was friendly and helpful. The one complaint we would have is that there is not breakfast available, otherwise a very nice place to stay and we would highly recommend it.
Room was very nice and well appointed. I find it annoying that no ice machine was provided. But my real complaint is that I was charged an extra $25 for possible amenities I might use. I was not informed of this and found out by checking my credit card account. After a call to customer service I learned this will be reversed. Too much work on my part. I like to know what is being charged to my card!
Was clean and comfortable and staff was very kind and personable. Husband used the fitness room and liked it. We all grabbed a coffee from Starbucks in the morning which was a nice treat. Convenient location that was still quiet.
