We stayed here while visiting family in BG. It's nice and clean. The AC worked great in the room! The hot breakfast was good. Lots and lots of restaurants and shops nearby! It's right off the interstate. The National Cornette Museum is like 6 miles away too. Comfy beds too!

Hotel's Favourite
We have yet to have a bad experience with a Drury Inn, and this location does an excellent job like the others. Manager Patrick runs a great show. Its location is ideal, right off the interstate and with plenty of stores and dining for the basics. Only trade-off is that it makes for one seriously busy commercial boulevard, so don’t let your BP numbers go up. Excellent breakfast and evening food with Rosa, in charge of the breakfast bar, doing serious work. If you don’t think it’s possible to foul up scrambled eggs, you’re not an egg eater. But Rosa knows how to prep them perfectly. You’ll go back for second helpings.

This was a quiet, very relaxing weekend, my fiance and I, truly needed to take a break from the hussle and bustle of life. We turned all phones off disconnected from the world (reason for no pictures. Next time I will take them before hand) and allowed the stress to fall off. We slept wonderfully on the pillow top king size bed, need less to say the swim we took every evening done us in perfectly! The room overall was perfect I could cook @ night, thanks to the kitchenette in our room; or if we decided to eat out we were right there. All staff was very polite, helpful, and the entire hotel environment was superb.

From the moment we checked in, the staff at this hotel could not have been friendlier. They set a great tone for our stay. They were also very helpful. When they told us the room category we had booked (King Deluxe) was next to the elevators, they moved us without additional cost to a category that wasn't. The room was clean and comfortable. Going in, we thought that the evening "Kickback" would be drinks and appetizers. But it was dinner!! And good food at that. Saved us from going out after a long drive. Breakfast was also good. This is obviously a well-managed hotel. (And we'd just come from one that wasn't, making this even more welcome.) Excellent value for the money. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked a 1 bedroom suite at the Drury Inn & Suites as a "stopping point" on our drive back to Indianapolis from Destin, Florida. Apparently MANY people had the same idea! We arrived just as the 5:30 Kickback was ending after an almost 11 hour drive. We saw a family walking to their seats with food and asked if the Kickback was still available. We were (apologetically) told that it had just ended, which was quite disappointing. We walked into the room and our 4 year-old had to use the bathroom. When he went to wash his hands, the sink would not drain. Both myself and my husband attempted to troubleshoot and could not get the sink to drain. We reported this to the front desk and were immediately switched to another 1 bedroom suite. The girl at the front desk even brought the keys to the new room to our old room so that we did not have to go down to the lobby to get them. That was very kind of her and made up for the denial of food at the end of the Kickback! Everything was in working order in our new room, but the layout of the room was very odd at this Drury. We are accustomed to the bathroom being right outside of the bedroom, but at this Drury, we had to walk through the living room to get to the bathroom from the bedroom. There was also no wet bar, but there was a fridge and microwave. And the TV in the bedroom was mounted to the wall on the side of the bed so we had to sit up in bed rather awkwardly to watch TV. Perhaps most disappointing was breakfast the following day. As previously stated in this review, the hotel was extremely crowded and apparently everyone wanted breakfast immediately. When we arrived downstairs at 7:45 AM, the dining room was in complete disarray. There were dirty dishes on tables, garbage cans overflowing, food all over counter tops, and there was barely any batter or syrup in the waffle station. There was only 1 person working the breakfast area and while she was moving as fast as she could, she could not keep up with the food demand or the messy guests. This was rather surprising as this is third Drury that we have stayed at in less than a year and the first one that we have had this experience. The hot food was well stocked and definitely hot but I can never understand why the Drury brand doesn't offer bacon with all of the other pork products that are offered. It's just odd to me. I certainly would stay at a Drury hotel again, but likely not at this particular location due to the layout of the suite (not very convenient with your child sleeping in the living room) and the amount of people during spring break with too little staff to accommodate. However, the location of the hotel itself is phenomenal for travelers, being right on the interstate and in the middle of tons of restaurants!

I have stayed in MANY Drury Inn. This was the worst one by a long shot. The 1st room they gave us at 8pm was dirty. Room hadn't even been touched. They moved us to a "clean" room. The room was DIRTY. My 9yr old was the 1st one to say dont walk with your shoes off. Dirty carpet, hair in shower, hair in toilet, hair in sink. The pool was cold as well as the hot tub. Pool area was disgusting. Didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. The only good thing at the hotel were the front desk staff. They were so nice, but I would never stay here again.

This is an older hotel. But it is very well kept up and very clean. The staff are excellent! We loved the open lobby/atrium as it made the hotel so bright! We had a king bed room and it had a microwave, mini fridge, tv, desk and chair. Water pressure in the shower was too low for me to wash my hair, which was a bummer. But it was fine for my husband. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. It should be noted that pets are allowed on some floors here. They did bother my husbands allergies but he took reactine and was okay. We had never stayed at a Drury Hotel and we’re impressed by the 5:30 Kickback and the breakfast. We stayed on a Monday night and the Kickback was penne with Alfredo sauce, chicken, veggies, baked potatoes, salad, hot dogs, nacho chips & liquid cheese. We made cheese baked potatoes like Wendys used to have- they were great! There is a fountain pop machine that is available all of the time. You could buy up to 3 drinks per adult at $1 each during the kickback time. The drinks are small, but we were impressed for $1! They had beer, wine, rum, whiskey, gin and vodka plus mixers. The cherry vodka sour was delicious! Rosa took care of the food at dinner and breakfast. She is lovely- they are very lucky to have her! She cooks and cleans up the food area- it was cleaner than most restaurants we’ve been to lately. Breakfast had real oatmeal with raisins, brown sugar and granola. Yogurt, cereal, biscuits & gravy, real scrambled eggs and sausage. Overall we were very impressed and would look for this chain again.

Right off the expressway, but a bit tricky to get to. Busy area, lots of traffic. Not the newest place but is worked out well. They try to keep it nice. Great evening meal and morning breakfast. Lively bunch of people, we met and talked to lots of people, especially the evening meal. We really enjoyed the meal and fellowship. Staff was great.. meal attendant was great. Manager was great. A good choice.

The front desk staff, breakfast staff, and pool maintenance man were all very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were very nice, and the room was clean! I was also allowed to check in early, which was so nice as I had to switch from a not so nice hotel to this one. Overall, wonderful experience!!
