We stayed for one night. When we entered the lobby, there was a smell. It was a combination of mustiness and cigarette smoke. It permeated the entire lobby. In line before us, there was a gentleman who wanted to reserve a room for that night, but he didn't want to pay for it until he checked in. The hotel employee said that he would have to pay now, or it would be available to anyone that needed a room. While they argued about this, the line grew behind us. Finally, when it was our turn to check-in, we were relieved. It took about fifteen minutes to receive our hotel key cards; for some reason, the hotel employee did a lot of typing during the check-in process as if he was writing a dissertation. Our room was decent meaning that it was clean and didn't have a smell. If you are a light sleeper, be aware that the hotel room doors close with a loud thud. Also, the walls are paper thin so if someone is yelling in the hallway, you will hear it clearly in your hotel room. There was a pool, but we did not go. We did not trust that the pool was clean. Others were clearly not worried because the pool was packed. The hotel is located around a number of restaurants to choose from. If you need a snack, drink, or gas, there is a BP gas station located almost in front of hotel. Parking is free. The breakfast bar had biscuits, bacon and runny-looking eggs. There was dry cereal. There were also pastries like Zingers and Hostess cupcakes as well, which is not typical offerings. While the hotel isn't the greatest, it isn't the worst either. However, one night there was more than enough.…
Place is a little dated but overall a good value. Attached restaurant was affordable a quit good for what they are doing. Included breakfast was above average and well maintained. Beds comfy, shower good, staff at the desk pleasant
Rented two rooms for two nights. The first problem is we were on the second floor and there is no elevator, which wasn't noted when I booked the rooms. This was a problem because two of us had bad knees. The rooms were dated and worn out looking. There were empty beer cans scattered about the grounds both mornings we were there. The front desk staff was not friendly. The breakfast was a joke, and very limited. On a positive note, it was quiet, had a nice pool and in a good location with many restaurants nearby.
At first this seemed like the perfect hotel and a decent one especially for the price we paid. Got in the room and it REAKED of smoke, there was a dead cockroach in the foyer , the bathroom is hellla cramped and more importantly the bugs EVERYWHERE. We picked out all the bugs in the bed, had to strip the sheets, and by the time it was morning all of our food and the dogs food were covered in ants. Husband said he woke up with a bed bug or a tick on him , if I could give 0 stars for sanitary I would
This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I expected so much more from a property by Wyndham. I took many photos that I would be happy to share. The lobby entrance was clean although it smelled strange and the staff did fine but there was only one frost desk clerk and he was stuck on the phone and unable to check us in for about 12 minutes. After checking in and receiving directions on how to enter the hotel I was appalled at how the hallways looked and smelled. It was apparent that this hotel was in great disrepair. Broken light fixtures, repairs done improperly so there were different colors of paint everywhere and holes in the walls and carpets, the smell was so horrible the only way I could describe it was a mix of mold, old cigarettes' and trash. Once I finally reached my room, a king suite, the blatant disregard for cleanliness continued. Mold and rot falling out of the shower ceiling, dirt, hair and other debris all over the floors, tile around the jacuzzi tub was molded, furniture was broken, several different colors of paint on the walls, broken sliding glass door to the central outdoor area where the pool was located which was also full of trash and beer cans and the pool clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time. Visible dirt on the bottom. There was about 5 different bottles of conditioner, but no shampoo. Last but not least, when I tried to flush the toilet it wouldn't operate properly so I proceeded to remove the top of the toilet to find it was full of trash. I made this room reservation at the last minute and it was nonrefundable otherwise I would have walked straight out. I have spent many years working in hotel and I can't believe how terrible this property was. It should be shut down immediately and the owners should be charged fee's by Wyndham due to their major lack of owner/management as this will leave a terrible impression on anyone who enters this property. I was too concerned to use the shower, the jacuzzi tub I paid extra for, the pool or even partake of the free breakfast as I was afraid on contracting some terrible parasite. These are the major reasons why I booked 3 rooms at this property and to not be able to use any of them was infuriating.…
Great place to stop on a long trip. Nice location. Nice bar onsite. Very helpful young man on reception. Great value for the price and I would have no problems recommending the hotel or stay to my friends
the service was great, no waiting at check in, we had a nice big room that was handicap accessible with a large walk-in shower, every thing was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants near by, I think the free breakfast was my favorite thing for the two mornings we were there two people save about $50 on going out to breakfast. I hope to return sometime soon. Say what you liked best & least
Everything here was fine from check in to check out. Reasonably priced. No problems. Breakfast was surprisingly good. I was able to check in quickly and with no delays. Coupon was accepted with no hassles as previously experienced.
Good location, near many restaurants, etc. Decently-priced and pet friendly ($20 per pet fee) though room wasn't that great (newish beds/linens are fine, but furniture old and grimy) but it did the job for one night's sleep. All surfaces were sticky (wiped down the room ourselves and found lots of bbq sauce, etc.) so not surprised to find an ant infestation in room and bathroom. Woke up to find one ant cruising around in my pajama top in the middle of the night. But overall I would stay again because of pet policy. Abdul at the front desk was super professional and friendly.
