Charlie checked us in and did a super job. He was quick and efficient. Brooke also helped us with a minor problem. Both of these worked the front desk and are a credit to the hotel. Everyone who worked at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The suite was spacious and spotless as was the rest of the hotel. The hotel was also convenient to many restaurants and attractions. Would defintely recommend staying here.
My husband and I have stayed here many times (with our small dog) and always enjoyed our stay. The last few times it has been lacking. The bed was lumpy, the sheets were very pilled and there was hair stuck on the pills. The refrigerator "ran" constantly and was quite noisy. The toilet was wobbly. My husband complained about the refrigerator and asked if we could change rooms. We were told there were no rooms available, and no maintenance person there (they did knock off $20). Overall the hotel is clean, and nice, but the bedding was uncomfortable. We will be trying a new hotel next time we go through Bowling Green. I hope they fix these issues.
We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks after the tornado in December. We picked this hotel because it had suites and because of the location. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The room was on the first floor. The carpet was dirty looking, the couch had stains all over (we never sat on it) and the bathroom wall had stains. The leather island stools were peeling. There were only 2 stools yet there were beds for 6 people. The glass on the kitchen cupboards was dirty looking. The chair and foot stool in the bedroom were dirty. Everything looked old and run down. Breakfast was ok when it was actually stocked. Most mornings there was nothing left by 8.30 am and breakfast wasn't over until 9:30 am. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff was friendly. There was a strong smell of "Pot" in the hallway and by the back door every day. We could even smell it in the bedroom. I expected a lot more from the hotel.…
I wish I could reward all the people that worked so hard at this hotel following the aftermath of the devastating tornadoes. Everyone that powered thru this deserves to be acknowledged by name. I was there working with my family. We are all inspectors for FEMA individual assistance program. The entire staff made us welcome and comfortable. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Some guests got upset because several times the smoke alarms went off inconveniently. But that is bound to happen when you can cook in your room. I was happy to know that they worked lol. I want to especially commend Tracey. She worked in the kitchen and in housekeeping and really wherever needed because they were short handed. She always has a smile on. I could name 10 more but Tracey deserves to shine a little. Keri up the good work Tracey and all of you! You are a credit to society. I hope IHG rewards all of you.…
I have been staying here for a week working and have been so happy with my decision. The staff has been kind and all of the hotel is clean, even with all the increased traffic due to the disaster. Gracie at the front desk has been particularly helpful and patient, even when I forgot to extend my stay!
This stay was so comfortable in spite of the circumstances. In particular our stay was especially enhanced by the special care from Gracie at the front desk. She is a credit to your hotel! She was attentive and concerned about our comfort.
We stayed for two nights on a road trip and it was really nice! The staff was very sweet. We had our small pug with us and the pet fee was reasonable. The pool area had some items to enjoy, which was nice. Free breakfast was very good, standard fare. We do wish the bathroom in the 1BR suite was connected with a door to the rest of the room, as our son had to go through the bedroom to use it. Exercise room was fine, nothing special. There's a Walgreens right next to the parking lot, which was convenient.
Fantastic stay. Extremely clean, comfortable room. Kitchen had very nice supplies and little extras that I appreciated so much. The beds had a choice of soft or firm pillows and the couch had a chaise lounges plus a pullout bed. All of this made staying with 5 children awesome! Very well maintained abs well designed room! You’ll be pleased!
I’ve never stayed at a StayBridge in all my travels across country that I’m ashamed to call a Staybridge. I’m not sure what to notate first.. the front desk staff is very lackluster and lazy, they are barely at the front desk.. housekeeping doesn’t do them much justice either as they don’t seem to care about cleanliness or customer care, the staff was maybe my bigger issue at this hotel. The older gentleman who works the social hour is by far the kindest staff/management figure onsite. Sales was on office one day during my two week stay. My fridge didn’t work well, my shower didn’t work well and worst of all I couldn’t rid of the varying bugs in the room and I clean my room everyday as there is nothing else to do in B.G. Stay at your own risk, might be better at the residence inn. Pest photos attached, I wasn’t really surprised as they have traps set in the room prior to check in.. Go WKU I guess..…
The hotel is listed a a non smoking hotel, yet the entire place smells like cigarettes. People have clearly been smoking in the rooms and stairwells, both tobacco and marijuana. The stairwells smell the strongest of smoke, and there are ashes as well as cigarette butts on the ground. Two times during our stay, a police office has escorted people in and out of the hotel, not sure what that’s about, but it doesn’t look good. I will say that the amenities, room, and lobby are nice, but the overwhelming smell of smoke really takes away from the overall value of the hotel. The location isn’t bad, close proximity to a gas station, grocery store, and some Restaraunt’s. It is a pet friendly hotel and has a nice area for animals, there are also a few parks near by you can take your dog or go for a walk. …
