Cozy room with king bed was clean, very important. Room had sink separate from toilet and shower room, convenient. Included were Keurig coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Property includes a small pool. Free breakfast included. Sausage links, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, assorted pastries, fruit, cereal. Convenient location to many restaurants and shopping nearby.
I read other reviews, looked at pictures. And my experience is not quite as good everyone else’s. The place is dated (I checked 4 times on several apps to make sure it was the same place). First- staff is amazing, very accommodating, and very friendly. The bathroom was decently clean but there was hair on the floor and on the shower wall. Not a lot. But I notice stuff like that. The setup has the sink outside of the bathroom. The room is nothing like the pictures. The breakfast was alright. Unfortunately, next time we may be staying at the Hampton inn next door or try the Drury. We did get a really good nights sleep and it was very quiet on the 3rd floor.
This is one of the nicest Holiday Inns that we’ve been to in a long time. We put in on our “return to” list. It was clean, the folks were pleasant and the breakfast was hot, not lukewarm and it was good.
My son and I stayed here for a basketball tournament. It is centrally located and surrounded by many restaurants. This hotel was very clean which is the first thing I look for upon arrival. These are a few things I noted during my stay. This is not to knock the quality of the hotel, but i always appreciate knowing what to expect ahead of time when staying somewhere. The rooms are pretty small. For two people, it was sufficient, but if we had had our entire family, it would have been cramped. I did not like the bathroom set up, but it probably is an older hotel. The sink is outside of the bathroom which I do prefer, but the toilet/shower area was tight. The coffee maker was right beside the sink which took away from space on the vanity. The outlet by the sink was oddly located on the wall of the front door. The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was pretty decent with hot food items available. Their cinnamon rolls were VERY good. English muffins and a waffle option would be ideal to add to their selection. Overall I was pleased with the stay and would not hesitate to stay there again. The front desk staff were very friendly. We left airpods in the room and we received a phone call very quickly after we checked out that they had them at the front desk. That phone call was very appreciated!! Thank you for a pleasant stay!…
The room was clean and comfortable and fit our needs. The location was great for the activities that we had planned on our trip. The staff was friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would stay here again if in the area.
We stayed here overnight while heading to Ohio. We had room 103. Immediately we noticed the room smelled musty. My husband ( who sells HVAC) turned on the fan. The HVAC unit was very noisy when operating. The refrigerator was noisy when it came on. In the morning we both noticed while showering the tub doesn’t drain. Don’t think we will stay here again on our trips to Ohio.
Stayed 8/31 and 9/1, both nights were separate reservations because of not knowing if I would need to stay again due to work. Upon both check-in's I asked about a room upgrade and was denied both nights. As a Spire Elite member this should be automatic. I was told if I want an upgrade I would have to pay more?? When I asked the front desk about why I couldn't get an upgrade with my IHG status, he simply stated it didn't matter and if I wanted it I would have to pay more. He said better rooms were available but not for what I paid for my reservation. Our company will be searching for another IHG property in this area. I have over 100 nights in an IHG property this year and this has been by far the worst customer experience to date,
We left the Laquinta Inn because it was so dirty and found the holiday Inn to be so refreshing. The breakfast was ok. Ladies were friendly and courteous because of the covid19 food was in warmers and nothing was even warm. We very much enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend and stay there ourselves anytime
Great location for a business stop. Located close to restaurants, retail, and grocery stores. Hotel staff was accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again next time my travels bring me to the area.
Spent only one night here from being on the road for 8 hrs. It was pleasant, comfortable,. clean, no loud noises or loud people. The pillows on the bed were so nice. Just kinda melt away in the bed. I didn't stay for the breakfast, I wanted to get home fast and get away from my obnoxious, angry niece, who was quite embarassing. This is a great and nice hotel for a stop over or when in town for whatever.
