We stayed at the Tru By Hilton as an overnight stop coming home from Alabama. The hotel itself is tucked away from the main strip where you find restaurants, shops,etc. We liked the fact that it was away from the noisy main road. The beds were comfy, the hand lotion smelled divine (yes, it is worth mentioning!) and the pool was heated which was nice for small children. The breakfast had an array of choices: scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, oatmeal, pancakes, cold cereal, bagels, muffins, and fruit. We were full and happy after our breakfast. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet, well managed hotel then be sure to stop at Tru By Hilton in Bowling Green. Thank you for a restful and relaxing stay!

We liked the bright, colorful atmosphere, the breakfast choices and the generous shower. I read that the target demographic for this Hilton brand is "tech-savvy millennials." Well, my wife and I are 80 and we thought it was a great design for us - go figure!

Hotel was clean, The bed one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on me and my husband were up a little after 4 am due to bed. Would HIGHLY not recommend. It’s very unfortunate as staff was friendly, the only complaint is the reason you need a hotel in the first place.

Very nice rooms, friendly staff, and common area. Decent breakfast with pancakes, yogurt, cereal, etc. However, the beds were horrible. We had two rooms on separate floors and both had terribly horrible mattresses. Forced to sleep at the base of the king bed in the wrong direction. Stayed 3 nights. Very clean and very quiet.

We are starting to like Tru as a sub-brand. The room was clean, floors were a nice vinyl tile and really clean. Far enough from the highway to not be a noise issue. We had the fan run for background noise and slept well. Kitchen staff was quick with the pancake refill and coffee was fine. The shower heat/pressure/size was great. Lots of parking. Originally had a problem with the TV, many stations showing "Weak or No Signal" and the TV Guide was empty but then when we checked later, it seemed OK. TV was large enough and stations that did work, were good quality. Water refill station is always appreciated along with the soap/shampoo dispensers to make the stay greener without needing to bring in our own.

I recently stayed at the Tru by Hilton in Bowling Green for one night of my Spring Break trip, on a Thursday evening. I had just finished spending 4 days in the Bourbon Trail area, and I decided to briefly head south to Bowling Green to go to a couple of State Parks, as well as the Corvette Museum. I had an enjoyable overnight stay overall, and I found this hotel to be very clean and modern. I had only stayed in Tru locations a couple previous times, and I enjoy their trendy feel. They are usually pretty reasonably priced as well--my overnight stay was only about $110 after taxes and everything, which was very reasonable, in my opinion. Since my trip was nearing its end, I was pretty tired by later in the week, so I opted to check-in pretty close to the 3PM check-in time, and my room was already available at that earlier time. I had a standard room with king bed on the 4th (top) floor, and the room was clean and comfortable. As with other Tru locations I have stayed in, I always feel like the rooms are somewhat small and cramped for space, but it is never a major inconvenience for me. My stay was very quiet, and I rarely heard noise from neighboring guests, etc. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept great here. I enjoyed being off of the main drag by a couple blocks, and my room faced towards the quieter back street, which was nice. I enjoyed using the indoor pool for a while the next morning, but it would have been nice to also have a hot tub. It seems to be a trend that newer hotels aren't putting in hot tubs these days. My TV in the room sometimes lost its signal--yes, we did have some occasional rain and storms, but it was annoying when trying to watch a show. The breakfast on Friday morning was pretty good, and I enjoyed the various offerings, including prepared oatmeal and scrambled eggs! I really enjoyed their coffee here, and it was hot and fresh! Another small annoyance that I had was that the dispenser with body wash in the shower was bone dry when I tried using it during my shower! I needed to settle for quickly jumping out and using some of the hand wash from the dispenser near the bathroom sink. Apparently housekeeping is not always checking the levels of the shower dispensers. There are lots of choices in Bowling Green, but I would return and recommend the Tru by Hilton.…

For a family traveling without a large pet, this hotel was not the best choice. Many dogs barking in their rooms. For $10 more we switched to the Home 2 Suites which was was much nicer and a bit cleaner. If you are traveling with a pet, this is a good choice, if not I would not recommend it. Rob at the front desk was very friendly and helpful!

Not human friendly!!!! This hotel is a pet hotel. Animal hair in 2 different rooms that we tried. The guy at the front was cordial about our swollen throats, headaches, and runny noses due to loads of animal fur and dander. If you have any allergies stay clear of Hilton. They won’t let you change your reservation without insulting you and blaming you for not verifying of the hotel is human friendly or not

The staff at this hotel are amazing. Genuinely nice and kind people. The rooms were spotless clean. It is located near everything, restaurants, mall, groceries. This is a really great place. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for the amazing southern hospitality at this beautiful hotel. All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast buffet and beverage station in the lobby. The pool was beautiful warm and clean. Thank you wonderful Hilton team I look forward to my next stay.
