We have very mixed feelings about this accommodation. The concept of the place is absolutely amazing. You are staying on a restored convict station. There is a very well done museum on the property explaining the history of the buildings and the people who used them. The cottage is well laid out and all of the essentials are there. We...

What a beautifully decorated and special accommodation. The Clarke family have incorporated their family history in creating this amazing space. Comfortable with everything you could possibly want........including a spa. This is a MUST .

The accommodation at Cascades is absolutely delightful. Peaceful and serene, although I must say that both my partner and I felt a little 'spooked' while there due to a kind of eerie atmosphere. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely evening and the most comfortable bed and best shower of our tassy trip. The kitchen had enough pots and pans etc for us to cook a feast and the continental breakfast was grander than expected. Marcus was lovely to chat with and certainly knows how to set a fire it was great. There is a lovely...

Took Us a while to find due to our stupid sat nav!! but once we did what a great surprise!! Looking at the Cottage we were not sure, but once we met the ower Marcus, and he said it was nicer on the inside, and the rugged falling down look was on purpose. we walked through the front door and...

I stayed in the Workshops Luxury Cottage for an extended weekend and quickly fell in love with the place. Location: Cascades is located on the Tasman Peninsula and, because the main road is a loop, is basically 15 minutes or so (by car) from most hiking trails, restaurants, etc. It is close to the water, and watching twilight rise over...

We stayed 2 nights in the officers quarters. A one bedroom cottage with a separate sitting room and kitchen area. The open fire was set awaiting our arrival. We just loved the atmosphere of the place. It added to the whole "convict era" experience. Port Arthur is only a 10-15 min drive away. Highly recommended if you're visiting the Tasman...

We only stayed for a night and it was awesome - could have stayed a week. We booked the Luxury Spa Cottage which was just perfect for 2 adults and a teenager. It was really different after normally staying in hotels. The cottage had everything we could have wanted, it was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfy, the heating was...

We stayed for a night at the Married Officer's quarters. This 2 bedroom self contained house has been lovingly restored and the attention to detail is beautiful. The fire was all set and ready to go when we arrived on a cold June night. The kitchen is well appointed. The museum across the road (which is part of the experience)...

I made a booking only a day or so beforehand based on a friend's recommendation, and the only accommodation available was the Married Officer's Quarters. This turned out to be a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage, with a separate kitchen and living room, and an open fire. My only regret was that we couldn't stay for longer, I loved this place!...
