Absolutely beautiful location on secluded cove. The bungalows are large, comfortable, well equipped. Just step out the back porch and you are a few feet from the ocean. Food was excellent throughout. Hosts couldn't have been nicer. Guided walks through the forest to see Madagascar's...More
We stayed at Mandrare the sister camp 7 years ago but this is quite different. Very spacious and comfortable bungalow with very much an open plan bathroom which is ok for couples but maybe not so good for friends, for example, travelling together. We stayed...More
We stayed 3 nights at Manafiafy in early August, which is of course winter. We were cold during both day and night - but the temperatures move around a lot, so do check the temperatures for when you will be there and come prepared. It...More

If I could give this lodge 6/5, I would. It was the best dream holiday! The lodge is located close to rainforests which result in the most amazing experiences with nature! Snakes, spiders, lemurs, bats, cameleons, the most amazing mangrove trees! A nature lovers dream...More

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. All drinks apart from wine and spirits are free of charge and can be obtained from the restaurant area whenever you want. The guest lodges are all solar powered - there was plenty of hot water and the lights were fine. There was one plug socket (continental type) to charge phones / camera etc, but you wouldn't be able to run a kettle or hairdryer off this supply.
Don't let this put you off though ... the place really is stunningly beautiful and the staff very accommodating.
We travelled in August so not sure about the temperature in November.
